The onus isn't on him there imo, its on Rory.

Yeah, that's what Dana said. Georges doesn't duck, will fight whoever.

Imagine Rory went Canadian Psycho on GSP if/when he beat CC?!

"You humiliated me in training on August 16, 2010. I want my revenge, Georges.
Fight me, and let me attain the true essence and fire of the God Of War, Ares!
With these hands, I will defeat you.
And as you lay in your own flowing warm blood, I will stand in my glory! And in my destiny!"

Rogan: ......Uh........

(Goldberg voice-over: UFC 158 is brought to you by Corn Nuts.....the official corn snack of the Octagon........"

Has GSP ever even said he would refuse to fight Rory? It would be weird to me if he did just because it would be presumptuous and negative against Rory. Its kind of Rory's decision to make. Rory will be the one caught in limbo and severely limiting his own earning potential by not accepting the fight with the biggest name in the sport.

I think the guy could be successful at MW, for sure. I do wonder if some of his size and wrestling would be negated there, though. How would Rory/Weidman go down, for example?

I also think it's kind of stupid, no, it's definitely stupid, that some keep to this hardline of never fighting training partners. Do you actually want to fight the best? GSP is the best, so it's up to Rory if his friendship is more important than actually, you know, reaching his dream of being the best in the world (assuming that's what he wants, which is kind of the point of being a hyper-athlete). At some point, it has to stop being about friendship or the lack thereof or respect or whatever or it can easily be dismissed as fear, IMO.

Well, Nate Diaz moved down a weight class for Nick, Machida won't move down to MW unless Anderson moves up to LHW, and Cormier is moving down for Cain. If GSP stays at WW, I guess that Rory will have to move up to MW. Rashad could've avoided all the drama with Jones if he moved down to MW after Jon beat Shogun. It's strange to think about some of these matchups; how would Rory vs. Machida or Rashad at MW go?

Diaz actually talked somewhat normal in the presser compared to his previous ones I think.

Probably hasn't had a chance to light up a doobie this early in the morning.

I think rashad at MW is going to own the division.
I personally don't see a guy at that weight beside Silva who imposes a huge disadvantage for him.

I really hope we see shad, rory and machida go to that division. It needs an injection

If someone like Machida goes to the division, Rory needs to just buck up and agree to fight GSP. That would be an absolute stylistic matchup nightmare for Rory.

Anderson Silva ruined 185. 205-ers won't drop down to fight him, 170-ers won't go up to fight him, the BEST guy suited for domination at 185 is his buddy, and he's beaten everyone else. Just call 185-186 Silvaweight and make a new 184 division.

Nick: blah, blah, blah on Montreal. I don't think they test for steroids down there...
<convo continues>
Dana interrupts: They test for everything down there, Nick.

If GSP juiced, he would have been pretty bloated at this juncture of training, I think. But he looked lean.

^ Would there be other signs? Have you noticed anything about him throughout his career? I have to think that where there's smoke, there's fire.

Nick was said to have smoked a joint like a half hour before he fought Gomi in Pride.

That is f'n amazing.

I smoke one, and do laps around the grocery store being confused and unsure.

Sounds like he did the same thing before the Conduit fight.

To me, that's impressive.

We'd be great friends. Top three thing to do when stoned, no question. Going into the grocery store looking for broccoli and milk and coming out two hours later with five types of popcorn and frozen squash.

I've never seen him with the bloated face that Wand/Alistair/Alves/AJ/Chael get or the breast tissue Rashad and Barnett get when they're using. He used to have weird puffy nipples but they didn't seem to be gynocomastia (in my professional opinion as a doctor of creepy) and so not nec related to effing with his hormones.

But there's a bunch of obvious users who never had any of the above. Ken Shamrock never had any weird asymmetries or anything, IDT, but most certainly was not clean.

There's a particular type of gut people believe is a sign of HGH (Liddell's) when organs / intestines start to grow and over-development of traps sometimes too. Those are the only signs I know of. Oh, and acne on the back of course.

Very interesting. I assumed his gut was simply a beer belly acquired between camps that turned hard later.

I can only imagine what it is like to be on some White China dipping in and out of aisles at a Walmart.

The two most famous bodybuilders of the past couple decades, with gross, distended bellies. A combination of insulin abuse and HGH, I think it's blieved.
