I know Diaz has good BJJ, but Johnson really should have remembered that wrestling was legal before the last 10 seconds.

If anyone is wondering what he said during the bleep, Nate called out Conor. People here will disagree with me but I'd like the ufc make Conor take a fight before getting the title shot at LW. It doesn't have to be against a Khabib or something but at least one fight against someone in the top 15 or so, why not a fight vs Nate? Pettis/Conor would be my homer dream but that won't happen for a lot of reasons.

I mean I don't care for them, but I wouldn't say fake. Delusional? Sure.

Yeah, delusional would be the right word.

These guys have something wrong with them and that isn't fake.

Don't even know who he was calling out and what it was about for the most part. Just that they should fight him and not someone else, because that would be the easy fight. Can't exactly take one of Nate's few words for it.

Good performance by him though. That fight ended up being all about psychology and energy. Their boxing canceled out, and MJ would only move after throwing but then settle to get hit with a series of combos of Nate's own. Then they got longer and longer, with less coming back, because MJ and those muscles were tiring, plus Nate regularly no-selling his attacks got in his head. But to offset, couldn't MJ couldn't have thrown in a few td's for scoring, momentum, gnp, and to make Nate tentative on his feet? I thought he had a wrestling background before becoming a supposed striking ace. Just bleed or Blackzilian effect?

I thought that might have been the case. But like I said, it reinforces Nate has zero cred about what he says. RDA, if he wins, would be the easy fight? He clobbered Nate. Or was he talking about Edgar, the multi-time LW champ, when he never got that close to the belt himself? He doesn't have a part of his brain that makes anything he says need to be grounded by reality.

Weird that this was a dream fight semi-recently and now I don't particularly care.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the winner get rushed to the front of the line for a Werdum/Cain fight though.

Classic grappler thinking fallling in love with striking and not winning IMO.

They gotta realize just because they've developed really well on the feet, doesn't mean they can beat all guys on the feet then, especially those who start earlier, and if things aren't going their way, it's fine to humble yourself a little and go to the backup plan. It is MMA, not K-1.

IDK I didn't specifically hear it, I just heard he called out Conor. Will look for it later.

Ugh. Can't sandwich a HW fight between two LW wars. These are two of the best 5-6 guys (regardless of what rankings say), and this just isn't good.

Sorry wolverine. I think JDS has just been in too many wars. At least there was a time when he was champion.

Good stoppage by Dan. JDS stiffened and he's taken too much damage in his career already. It's sad to watch him in the first place. He's a shell of himself (slow reflexes, short on ideas) and will have a hard life after MMA.

Man, JDS wasn't aggressive like we have seen in the past?

Had Overeem in the corner and just let him free?

Weird fight for JDS :(

Wait, Michael McDonald still fights? And they somehow still have him ranked in the top 10? Hasn't fought in years it seems.
