that injury to Namajunas finger was gnarly.... she couldnt punch.

nonetheless, the move up to the new weight class might be too much for her. she looked tiny compared to Manon.

As for the Gane fight, those body shots. Spivac had no chance.

Yeah agree. That finger really compromised her fight. She gave it a good effort though, I actually felt like Manon let off the gas in Rds 2 and 3 instead of bullying her more. I wasn't that impressed by that fight.

With Grasso Schevchenko II around the corner, I really don't care either way if Fiorot or Blanchfield are in the title fight vs the winner. I don't think either win vs the winner, or even vs the loser

Gane did exactly what he should and Spivac looked really bad on the feet, he made no progress getting it to the mat and took way too much damage in the process. Poor showing from him but Gane looked great, crowd was amped up for the French fighters.

Gotta mention Benoit St. Denis -- he was dominant, I think he's coming to a main event soon

This event was great.

**** Valentina was cruising to victory and made a mistake with 90 seconds left. Godammit.

Then Mike bell have a 10-8 to grasso even though she got beaten up for 4 minutes of the round.

Grasso/Shevchenko 3 should be the third fight at UFC 300.

I was out of town and missed the fights, seems like the scoring in main event was whack. Can anyone confirm if the 10-8 was...real?

UFC 300 needs this fight on the Main card, I agree Floody. Bellator is doing 4 title fights, UFC 300 needs to aim for a huge promotional card as well with ample time for the fighters to prepare.

10-8 fifth round was all time bad scorecard. Grasso was getting beaten handedly for 3 minutes 40 of the round.

UFC 296 is gonna be fire but please don’t tell me Paddy and Furgeson are fighting after Shavkat and Thompson, they get a higher spot on the card undeservingly, would be funny if Paddy loses to Furgeson though, Dana will be extra red.

If no flags are allowed in the octagon how did he get a bible in there.

I wish I were that unhinged for a day, it must be a very interesting world to live in. At least Bisping rolled with the punches and just asked the next questions pertaining to the fight.

Also I'm gutted with Fiziev's injury. Looked like a buckling of the knee so anything form MCL to ACL is my non-medicinal training guess. Pretty awful, he seemed like he was going to piece apart Gamrot and we were in for an entertaining scrap.

Ah well, fighting for a living is **** crazy.

Usman vs Khamzat, this card just became insane.

Usman a big name, and he won't have to cut weight w it being 185. But I can't see this being competitive. He's ideal for 170, he's old and shopworn, and only maybe has an advantage in jab + distant cobtrol.

I thought Costa was a fine opponent. Though it was a bad matchup for Costa, I suppose.

I'd also way rather the Charles vs Islam fight.
