I actually think LW is pretty weak right now. The fact that Chandler/Oliveira fought for a title is a pretty big indication of that. Everyone in the top 5 is very beatable.

It's very good depth. I wouldn't say it's weak because it's missing one invincible guy.

I don't think the depth is that good though. Oliveira has beaten Lee, Ferguson and Chandler. I don't think anyone considers Lee an elite fighter and Ferguson has now lost 3 in a row and I don't think has even won a round in those 3 fights. Gaethje is a very exciting fighter but does anyone really see a championship level skillset? Conor looked awful against Poirier and I wonder how much motivation he has at this point in his career. Chandler is a good fighter but not elite.

Poirier is the best LW in the UFC. He's shown tremendous improvements in his game but he too is beatable. Dan Hooker gave Poirier everything he could handle in their fight last year and Hooker is ranked outside the top 5.

It's not a terrible division. But I don't think it's strong at all. The one exciting part about the division is that the top 5 are all beatable so the title might be changing hands quite a bit in the next year or two lol.

There are so many good match-ups. 155 is insane. JG vs CO? Oof. That's a pick em. As is JG vs DP. As is CO vs DP. They're all impossible to pick.

Never mind throwing CM into that mix. I literally could not pick any match-up between those top 4. And Chandler deserves to be in there too.

Justin’s just wasting way on the sidelines. Dudes been boned because he’s been so critical of the ufc. But best thing for the division is him fighting for title and then the winner fighting Dustin. A Dustin Gaethje rematch would be insane. That first fight was great. Otherwise wtf is their plan with Justin?

Lightweight is so stacked. Islam should be fighting someone better too. That’s a waste.

That's pretty crazy since he spent 2 minutes almost getting choked...
