It’s cool that all three of Pena, Charles and Cruz were knocked down in the first and came back to win.

It's hilarious that DC had no idea Hall was winning the fight, he acted shocked that Krause (oppo's coach) told the opponent after 2 hat he was losing. LOL. Ryan was CLEARLY dominating (as the 30-27s testify to), DC couldn't see it???

That was a great card. I literally LOL when they mentioned Cody getting a title shot. Of course he was getting stretched and tbh I don't even think his opponent is good at all.

Can't believe whatever that was with Nunes.

I hated that one of DP/Olives had to lose tbh. It's a done deal if Charles gets a hook in though.

First off, Poirier is a hell of a guy. Did he donate 20K to Brazilian charities within a minute of being finished? He's got to be up there for best person in MMA.

Second: LOL @ this nonsense we've been hearing for years where "Nunes beats up dudes in sparring". That was always such a fabrication. She just has unique proportions for a woman such that she can chuck that awesome right hand, keeping it straight, while turning over her hips. I don't know if it's a long torso/arms, or what. But you don't see women having mastered it. And it really is the only thing she's excellent at. That was absolutely terrible boxing between the two of them, and Nunes got pushed back and just gave up. Ridiculous.

It's totally legit, but wild, to think that she ought to now lose any claim to women's GOAT. BEFORE THE FIGHT, she was unquestionably #1. AFTER THE FIGHT? How can you crown the "GOAT" moniker to someone that looked that bad and who gave up at the first sign of any adversity. She couldn't handle even the sloppiest of boxing returns, it caused her to back and tap without any pressure. You just can't call that person the GOAT.

Pena said after the fight that she merely thought the round was over, because it hadn't even occurred to her that Nunes would have tapped from a submission that weak.

Don't listen to them, Cody. You're always one win away from a title shot in my heart (125, 135, or 145 lbs). <3 XOXO

Nunes so used to being the hammer that she gave up the second she became the nail.

I honestly think it'll play out such that Valentina is GOAT. Nunes has more marquee wins due to her division being THE division in these early days of WMMA (Meisha, Holly, Ronda) but Valentina is just as dominant and the fights between the two were both extremely close.

The one thing that Nunes has that Valentina will probably never match is the finish of Cyborg.

Valentina subbed Venezuelan Vixen with relative ease when they fought and it'd happen again IMO.

Ive had my flag in the Valentina is the female GOAT for sometime now. Skill wise she is just on a completely different level compared to any other female fighter. It doesnt matter who the opponent is, Valentina can pretty much choose pre fight on how she wants to win. She is just on another level.

It's really a shame she didn't get the decision in the 2nd Nunes fight.

I looked up the media scorecards for that fight recently and I want to say it was like, 10 scorecards to Nunes, 10 scorecards to Valentina, and 2 draws. Literally as close as you can get.
