UFC 273: Chimaev vs Burns

Can't wait for this card. Most excited about the Chimaev fight over the title fights but all the fights on the main card should be great.

Pretty cool to see him chat about his room in All Stars. He just wants a better life for his mom.

Luke puts the whole Khazmat thing into about as good of a perspective as possible.

His confidence is a mixture of Khabib, Conor and Jones. Weird but he knows he's the best on the planet right now.

He is 100% clear that he's going to win but holds space for a loss happening via flash KO. DC tries to mess with him about Till, Khamzat comes right back at him about DC's relationship with Khabib without getting personal or offended, just takes it as a joke as DC intended and says "you need friends to have your back".

No over the line smack talk, 100% respect but a ruthlessness to him that's reminiscent of Khabib/Jones.

I am not a big believer in Aljo, I gotta say. That last performance, where he just spammed high-energy kicks at an insane pace, was going to get him TKOd. He's just not half the striker that Yan is, and that strategy was super stupid (Serra-Longo doing it's thing). But, damn, am I emotionally invested him winning. The lulz if he finishes Yan. Holy hell, all the ****-talkers.

And Yan seems like a huge prick. There's no way he will be sporting if he wins. Let's go Sterling.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

lol, wanna fight naked

Some really good back and forth here, Gilbert seems game but uncomfortable - Khazmat is quick witted and straight to the point.

lmao at Leech asking questions with Till in the background, wtf is goin on.

Crazy good fight, thought Burns won though. And ya Burns just needs to clean up his defense on those jabs and straights and he will be an even bigger beast than he is right now.

I thought Khamzat won the 3rd with those jabs but hard to judge that round.

Would have to watch the 3rd round again. But Chimaev looked like he was fresher at the end had Burns in big trouble earlier in the round. More visible damage on Burns might have cost him.

Great fight! It was close, but I think Chimaev's constant forward pressure and the visible damage he did to Burns, along with his stuffing of Burns' takedowns, won the judges over.

With that being said, I'm not sure how Chimaev fairs against Colby or Kamaru.

He ended up winning but -550 odds for anyone against Burns is ridiculous.
