Spence will take punches better but Crawford will still have an one-sided UD. It'll be kind of like when Pacquiao rematched Barrera at 130 after smashing Barrera in the first fight at 126.

It wasn't just that Crawford countered Spence's punches. Crawford timed Spence all night and beat him to every huge exchange. I think Spence adding more weight helps Crawford even more.

The counter argument to that is perhaps making 147 took something out of Spence. He's been very open about how tough it was to make weight and how this was going to be his last fight at 154. Maybe he is rejuvenated at 154. But from what I saw from the highlights this fight probably took a lot out of him so whatever benefit he gets from not having to cut weight was probably wiped out by that.

Holy ****, Terence Crawford. What a talent. It's just a shame he will finish his career having been tested so rarely.

Ennis should be the next fight. Then 154.

I don't mind a Spence rematch at 154. But 147 would be silly.

In fact, I think Spence should retire. His brain and body don't need anymore.

Interviewing Spence in the ring after the fight was effed up. Don't do that.

There wasn’t one single instance in which Spence made Crawford think twice due to his size and power. I don’t really think that changes at 154 either. Crawford’s hand speed is superior, his punches were heavier and he had perfect timing and reflexes with his counter punching. He barely looked like a guy that broke a sweat.

Also, Spence benefited from being much stronger and bigger than most of his opponents at 147. He wouldn’t really have those advantages at 154. It’s going to be very tough for him to get back to that elite level. This wasn’t just an instance of one fighter being a superior boxer to another. He took a one sided beating. I can’t recall a fight that was 50/50 from the onset(with two top guys) that was as lopsided as this was.

BlackThought wrote:Hats off to Spence for trying until the end. This has been the greatest week of boxing in my lifetime. The last 2 times I told my friends who are none boxing fans to watch a fight, I ended up disappointing my friends. The first time I did that was Mayweather/Pacquiao, and the 2nd time was Canelo/GGG. But this week I'm 2/2 and my friends are now boxing fans.

As for the rematch I think they should do it again at 154 just for the money. There is nobody else around 147/154 that Crawford can fight that will generate half as much interest as another Spence fight. After Crawford beats Spence in the rematch he can fight Tim Tszyu for a title at 154. After that he can consider calling it a career.

With how one sided that beating was I don't see the rematch garnering much interest until Errol Spence gets another win or two under his belt.

Bet ur house house on Wilder in Wilder vs Joshua before the odds start to widen. Joshua doesn't last 2 rounds.

Love Usyk, but that seemed like a legit body shot that put him down. It was low, but not at the groin area. If he did get up from that shot and beat the 10 count, he could have been in trouble.

Low blows are not just groin shots. The range is up to the belly button, and that clearly hit below.

Mbilli looks like a clone of a smaller Tyson for sure. While I haven't followed the sport as much in the last decade and I am not sure he isn't just beating tomato cans... last nights fight looked impressive. I know Boxing has lost it's glamour... but watching him dominate that way... HE just looks like a smaller Mike

Prograis looked terrible in his last fight. But the Haney match, now official, is still exciting. Prograis is a serious talent, and deserves this shot (after being left to rot on the vibe for so many years).

Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou, October 28th in Saudi Arabia - afternoon fight in America/Canada.

This got my juices flowing and 100% I'm planning a fight party. The undercard is full of heavyweight fights. Wardley vs Adeleye will bring a ton of beef due to Wardley getting punched at the Press Conference and was left bleeding. The Bakole fight will be interesting having beaten Tony Yoka not long ago in France. Makhmudov is a beast.

Fabio Wardley Vs. David Adeleye
Martin Bakole Vs. Carlos Takam
Joseph Parker Vs. Simon Kean
Arslanbek Makhmudov Vs. Agron Smakici (TBC)

All heavyweight fights are hit or miss. You can get an exciting rock em sock em fight, a quick and explosive knockout or....or it could be a sloppy, boring wrestling match with two out of shape guys.

I am mostly interested in those crossroads fights Bakole/Takam and Parker/Kean.

Canelo is such a pleasure to watch. His punching and defensive movement are beautiful.

Let's just hope that with him wanting a 5th of May fight, and with Benevidez and Andrade about to fight for #1 contender at the end of November, there is *no option but*for him to face the winner.

168 is his optimal weight class. He should not go back to light heavy weight.

Why watch that ****? There's zero interpersonal tension (unlike Mac vs Floyd). There's zero competitive tension. Fury will exhaust him with ease, he's so clever.

Also, the Saudi Arabia royals/government funded 9/11, murders journalists ans critics, and has indiscriminately killed 10,000+ civilians in Yemen.
