Dunno if I wanna stay up and stream this ****. There's no juice to the main event even though it should be interesting and I'm pretty anti Josh Emmett so go Yair I guess.

Pretty trash card but top 3 fights are fun. First time for me going to an event

I had a feeling this would be scored to Islam. Too much weight goes into takedowns. Once down Islam could do nothing with Volk. Not one submission attempt. Volks was comfortable fighting Islam on his back and probably landed more strikes during it. But since Islam did the takedowns and managed to hold Volks down whilst not doing anything else that's why I thought they'd score to Islam.

I don't really get 49-46, but 48/47 makes sense for either guy. Heart wanted Volk, but head said Izzy won. I thought his striking was the difference. Dropped Volk twice, hit him with a big knee, and sprinkled in a few jabs. I thought Volk mostly neutralized him on the ground, although I'm sure the judges scored that in favor of Islam but it was the striking that really separated them. Close fight, 3 rounds to 2 for either guy but I thought Islam won it

Islam's striking was better than expected, and Volk's grappling better than expected. Islam still looked kinda compromised from the weight cut, and was toast when the 5th ended. Volk looked like he had another 5 rounds left in him.
