Haven't watched all of Smackdown yet, but I thought the opening segment was really good. My only complaint about it is something that TNA has a tendency to do (a lot) as well. I think it's really annoying for a promo to have 4 different guys all come out to their own entrance music interrupting each other. Last night was one of the worst offenses of it that I've seen in WWE.

AJ comes out to her music, begins cutting promo gets interrupted by...
Dolph/Vicki come out, begin cutting promo, get interrupted by...
Punk comes out, begins cutting promo, gets interrupted by...
Bryan comes out, begins cutting promo, gets interrupted by...
Sheamus comes out, begins cutting promo.

That's 5 different entrances and 4 interruptions, in 1 giant promo that probably ate up 15 minutes of tv time (I didn't time it) before the match even started. In this case, because all the talent in the ring was quality talent (on the mic), it didn't really phase things in a negative way. But it's still pretty ridiculous.

Vince McMahon got a lot of heat this past week from many reporters about his portrayal of Jim Ross and making fun of his Bell's Palsy. Former WWE Creative Writer Joe Franciosi, who worked with the company in 2010, stated that Ross was ridiculed numerous times by Vince and his other staff members.

"I sat through tons of meetings where Vince and tons of others would just shred JR. I wondered why until I met him" This message was posted earlier today on Twitter.

I think what blazza was referring to was that fans and others are still getting on Vince about it. The "heat" part of that article.

As for Franciosi, yeah he's totally taking a jab at JR. And jr lucosa is right, it's probably just a matter of him being a pain to work with.

Yep I think blazza caught the first part, the "article" ends pretty abruptly.

I would hope it's because hes a pain, and not because of the way he looks, talks, dresses etc. Which I could also see being the case.

I wonder how MITB will work this year. All superstars appear on both shows, with the exception of maybe Damien Sandow and Antonio Cesaro who I've yet to see on Raw. Plus the WWE's superstar section no longer states RAW or SD! So saying "Raw MITB" or "SD MITB" won't work.

There should only be one match anyway. Concentrate the talent a bit. Make it seem like any of the competitors could win it.

I am assuming you are talking about Vince McMahon’s impersonation of Jim Ross in the segment with Hornswoggle on Raw Supershow. Vince does not hate Jim Ross, Vince likes to bully him. It’s like Vince gets some type of sick pleasure by picking on JR. One thing to keep in mind is WWE is ran under the high school jock mentality with some people getting bullied for the sake of a cheap laugh. It’s very disrespectful, especially to a legend such as Jim Ross who is the best play-by-play man in the history of the wrestling business.
