Balor with the black and purple gear and those arms bands, he's looking a lot like Pac.

I hate to say it about such a man... but I think Finn is a tad overrated. His matches never seem to get to a level of total crowd investment. I felt this way during his initial NXT run as well. He never had the best match on a Takeover.

His match with Joe where Joe was split open in the first 5 mins was pretty great.

That Air Raid off the top of the cage, had to be one of the best spots in recent history.

So, there's no way Adam Cole should be able to retain his title tomorrow right? After that bump, you can't just go out the next night and have a normal match.

That's probably why Dunne was selling that chop block by Dain so hard, they can claim both men are banged up.

Re: NXT TakeOver: War Games Discussion
The men's War Games match was phenomenal. Really liked the combination of the technical masters UE with these crazy athletic big guys like Lee, Dijakovic and Owens. And the final spot was probably one of the craziest I've seen.
I liked Dakota Kai's heel turn, my only issue with the women's war game match, not to sound like Cornette in terms of the realism focus, but 2 against 4 feeling like 50/50 or 40/60 in the ring was stretching it. Bazler had to stay down for a while to make it even. I don't have a problem with Rhea hitting the finishing spot out of nowhere and getting the win if they were more doomed to that point. Speaking of, Rhea is a future star for sure. Nice move by them leaning into the butch thing instead of forcing her to be like Charlotte. Love her theme song.
The Dunne-Priest-Dain was really fun, although exhausting by the end, it felt like they were kicking out of big moves forever. Priest is basically El Corbin
The worst match of the four was Balor vs Riddle. Was that a CM Punk chant? (being in Chicago didn't help matters). It got more exciting at the end and was still better than most matches, but hard competition with the other 3 on the night being excellent. Not sure I love burying Riddle just to make Balor strong for when Gargano, a guy who doesn't even need to be in NXT anymore beats him. Balor and Gargano is a good combination (old NXT vs newer NXT) but why not the opposite, have Balor injure Riddle, face Gargano first and beat him, and then Riddle come back and get the big win over him
Also having Mauro put over Britt Baker was weird. I think "Adam Cole's girlfriend" would have sufficed.
