Hmm. That's not good

Why?

I guess you'd expect a little more than that once "fans" got wind of where they were.

But the buzz around SummerSlam has been low overall, even in the city.

Will be interesting to see what the attendance ends up reportedly being on Monday

Yeah being at the hotel last year (when we found out about it) there wasn't that many people.
But last night we were there around 10-11pm and lot of wrestlers were just checking in with
their luggage and stuff and some were just hanging out in the bar catching up with others from
other brands. This is the night before all 4 shows even start though. I agree there hasn't been
much buzz in the city but I've seen a few tourists at the SummerSlam shop like a guy wearing
a France flag.

I should also give a shout out to Gargano and Ciampa when they walked in they got a lot of attention
and signed, took photos and chatted with everybody. I knew they weren't tall but man them Akira Tozowa
and Drake Maverick are midgets.

They should have added Torrie Wilson vs. Kelly Kelly in bra and thong match.. The ratings would have been huge! :P

It's true... just zero buzz for their second biggest event of the year. Not good.

Hey what's the word on HBK?

I know he's not on the card, but this thing with Ziggler...any speculation on if he's gettting involved tomorrow night?

They haven't really tried with summerslam for a while now. In fact they try more with the Rumble and Survivor Series more than summerslam.

Well they put a good moment on the pre show (in spoiler). No idea why that couldn’t of been on the main show.

Spoiler:
Elias was doing a musical number making fun of Toronto and Edge came out and speared him

The Becky vs Natty match was actually pretty good. Like the storytelling and Becky sold that leg throughout like a champ

Anyone else's stream messing up? Sometimes getting audio from several minutes earlier with live video or the other way around :nonono:

The crowd ain't THAT dead. They've gotten loud during the good matches. Dont know why they used up Ricochet/AJ so early though

WWE Creative: "We need something fresh for Bray."

Vince: "Ask him who his favorite wrestlers are and we'll build from there!"

Bray: "Uh, Foley, Doink the Clown, Kane, Boogeyman?"

Vince: "Great! From now on you also like Al Snow!"

Bray: "How do we incorporate Al in my gimmick?"

WWE Creative: "Say no more. We got you fam."

Kidding aside. Creepy af. I like the growls in the theme and how it follows an eerie female vocals.
