It's actually kind of impressive that we all figured WWE would somehow botch this, but they botched it in so much more of a glorious fashion than anyone could have predicted.

WTF was that - that whole match was crap from the beginning with that red lighting over it.

I remember Asuka had been lobbying for doing it in her Wrestlemania 34 diaries. So this was probably something she was pushing for forever.

Anyway, first WWE PPV I fully followed in a while. Highly predictable card overall sadly.

Wow

Can't remember a crowd ever revolting on a WWE finish like that before. A DQ in a HIAC match? how is that possible?
Also if Wyatt can now withstand all that damage and get up like nothing happened how is he supposed to be beatable
in a one on one match?

WWE really booked themselves into a corner by booking this match in the first place. They just gave AEW a nice
shot in the boost in the arm there.

You mean aside from every Roman Reigns 'Mania main event?

There are other examples from recent years as well.

I think Seth gagging up blood is even worse than the ending.

What a scene!

Well to be fair, when Taker and Kane first started, those guys were "invincible" too and would get up from anything quickly. They slowly faded that away

Had to be the only result I cared for.

And wow, all logic has gone completely with WWE creative. If they did announce Rollins winning due to an unresponsive Fie d, I'd take it. But this?

And that was sooooooooooo over the top. They thought Wyatt would look so strong no selling **** with all that damage?

1. Hello "pro wrestling isn't real" smarks
2. Way to book a monster, but you inadvertently booked Rollins just as strong having him kick out from all the punishment and coming out on top with all those stuffs he pulled at the end just to keep a monster down

This is ridiculous. Months of building up Bray and you can't have him:

1. Win clean.
2. Win clean in a gimmick match tailor fitted for his character.

I got nothing now, man. Can't justify this BS.

I don't mind monsters getting up from some stuff, especially when you're building them up, but they went way too far overboard. As someone else said, how do you realistically beat the Fiend at this point? He took about 25 finishers, chair shots to the head, a sledgehammer to the face, and just shrugged it all off and stood tall at the end of the match.

The booking of this match really made no sense. They booked it with the Fiend being the guy taking the beating and that's just dumb. He's the monster heel.

I’m generally a go with the flow fan. I like to give the story they try tell a chance and not come predisposed with what I want to happen.

But this was just a confusing mess and crap execution of the main event. Probably the first time I fully side with the pissed off crowd.

Totally amazing how they both destroyed the guy they want to build their company around AND murder their most over character in years simultaneously. I’m not even mad. That’s just respect.
