Have the IC and/or tag titles and/or US title defended every week in meaningful matches. Make the matches longer. No reason why we shouldn't have at least one 20+ minute match on RAW every week. This is what the young guys who can actually wrestle are for, yo!

Boom. 3 hour problem solved.

The format of the show should be modified regardless. It's just a lot of nothing right now. There's about 20 minutes of enjoyable content each week. It's not like they're busting at the seams with brilliant material to the point where they can't fit it all in. Most of Raw is filler.

Doing a 3 hour show every single week is going to mean things will have to be changed because people aren't going to tune in for an extra hour of talking and goofy crap like Brodus Clay bringing the entire lower bowl of the arena into the ring to dance. With Clownshoes being on his way out of his current role, that leaves an even larger hole to fill on tv since he won't be popping up every 10 minutes to ramble about "people power".

You could say the same about a 2 hour show. I've been finding it extremely hard to watch lately. I get exhausted after the opening segment, and usually just stop watching then and view it later on youtube.

I'd be perfectly fine with the 3 hour show if the extra hour is wrestling. Not likely but it would make the current amount of extra stuff tolerable.

I don't see them adding an hour and making matches longer.

If it was me, these are the elements that should be a part of every Raw:

1) WWE Title storyline
2) Heavyweight Title storyline
3) Tag Team Match (non-title)
4) US Title Storyline
5) Singles Match (mid-card)
6) US Heavyweight Title storyline
7) US Heavyweight match (not necessary title but something to do with the storyline)
8) WWE Title Storyline
9) IC Match (similar to US storyline)
10) Tag-Team Storyline
11) Divas Match
12) WWE Title/Heavyweight Title Match (just like the other title picture matches, not necessarily defending the belt but a match regarding the title)

If 3 hours, that's 4 segments for each hour and very workable, there's plenty of time in 3 hours to fill your filler crap stuff and promote PPV's and upcoming shows. In two hours, you just alternate certain segments week over week.

3 hours is a good move. I know they do a lot of meaningless crap with Johnny and Cena, but as long they use that extra hour to promote new stars and/or to build feuds then i'm all for it.

Why are they not doing that now? 4 hours of television per week is an extraordinary amount of time to develop a tag-team division and mid-card feuds (and any feuds that don't involve Cena, Triple H or Punk for that matter) but they're not doing it. They're filling time with nonsense. 15 minute segments that should take 6. Meaningless tag matches. More comedy segments than are necessary. 2 hours Raws are mostly filler - why should I believe that adding another hour is going to fix that?

Are you really expecting an answer from any of us? We're just as in the dark about their methods as you are. We all know it doesn't make sense. We're just hoping that with an extra hour, some things change for the better.

Stanford, at the end of the day most of us will agree with you. To be honest maybe the extra hour could be more garbage, but hopefully not. Just hoping for the best.

If WWE wasn't full of so many ignoramus's than 3 hours wouldn't be so bad. I actually like the idea of 3 hours, just not if it's going to mean incessant replays of what happened earlier this evening and/or last week, and endless promotion.

As was mentioned earlier, if that's going to mean a few more matches, maybe some tag team development and some actual, new creative, fun live programming. By all means. If it's just for more Cena with the troops and more big showing then count me out

BTW, luv Damien Sandow. Those pink trunks pushed him over the top for me. He's a close second behind my guy D-Bry.

They can and should do that in 2 hours, but clearly they aren't (for whatever reason). We're just hoping that a move to 3 hours opens up the doors to these things a little bit -- essentially, they can keep the nonsense they fill time with now (if they're so intent on keeping some of these stupid segments a part of the show) and still build title feuds, a tag division and showcase their young talented guys in the ring in *gasp* actual wrestling matches (I read somewhere that Ziggler tweeted about wanting to do an Iron Man match on the first 3-hour RAW. This is the kind of stuff you can do with a 3 hour show! And you're not really giving away money with a match like that because they don't even find time for the Ziggler's of the world on most of the PPVs these days.)

Now do I actually believe this'll happen? Hell no. 3 hour Raws will probably suck ass and we'll all be griping about how they're still mismanaging the roster.

By the way, Sandow is gold. He has the look, a great physique, a great gimmick, he can talk, and he's very good in the ring. It will be hard even for Creative to botch his rise to stardom. He's already my second favorite part of SD! after DB.

in theory a 3 hour raw is a good idea but i get groggy normally watching them. but we know the biggest problem w/this company is their ability to develop storylines/feuds outside of cena/wwe title, hell even the WHC takes a backseat and rarely if ever gets top billing (and this whole f*ckin year, everyones taken a backseat to every cena feud)

an extra hour SHOULD help them develop better feuds and help legitimize the us and intercontinental belts along w/bringing the tag titles to relevancy again but i dont see it changing (as much as id like to hope it would)

think another returning wrestler will do that? Sin Cara? No. probably Rey? I see a heel taking the belt from Santino.
