Hulk and Russo share the blame.

I was watching TNA last night, randomly caught it while flipping channels. Davey Richards v DJZimma was pretty good. The whole show was actually pretty good until Mr.Anderson told EC3 that there was a "99% probability that you have a small weiner". For realz.

If you took the TNA roster and paired w/ the NXT (style) writers & bookers, they could rival the WWE. Talented group of guys with 0 direction.

I'm amazed every time there's a new post in this thread. It seriously surprises me.

A-Hole. hadn't seen TNA in a minute, was he involved in anything major storyline wise?

I think I read that he was part of the tag champs currently. I haven't watched it in well over a year.

Jeff Hardy, well I guess both Hardys, are complete idiots. I wonder how big Jeff would've got in the WWE if it weren't for his drug problems. He sold a TON of merchandise and for whatever reason, people loved him.

Billy Corgan is a writer/executive there now.

Also, on the second part of his interview with Austin, Shane Douglas said Panda's put almost a half billion into TNA and then several million on top of that for Hogan and Bischoff.

I remember when Corgan was rumored to be the head of a group that wanted to buy TNA. Good for him, I guess.

Apparently Chris Hero was backstage last night at TNA tappings, would love to see him signed there. That is if he has lost a few lbs.

Meltzer's reporting that Destination America is going to cancel TNA. If this ends up being true, and the fact that we haven't heard a strong and immediate statement to the contrary indicates it probably is, I think it has to be viewed as essentially the end of TNA. Which I'll admit I'm sad about. Ignoring the fact that you'll have a lot of really talented guys out of work, the TNA product had zero buzz but I thought the product itself had been very good for most of this year.

I think it could end up being a blessing in disguise for pro wrestling. People were never going to accept TNA as a legitimate brand again because they did so much to ruin their brand. With all those guys now looking for jobs, that will surely make the GFW roster even stronger. If they can manage to market their product well and put out quality wrestling, while finding a cable deal within the next year we could actually see a true alternative to WWE on cable tv that we can take seriously, which hasn't been the case in a very long time.

I think the biggest problem with professional wrestling right now is that there could be a growing perception among TV executives that wrestling is a niche product to begin with, but outside of WWE it can only exist on a local or regional or very no-name network level. And TNA being cancelled after only a few months by a completely no-name network only furthers that perception. Maybe I'm completely wrong and Jarrett can get a deal with a major TV network, assuming this story is true, his chances are certainly better than they were 24 hours ago if he can get guys like the Hardy's and Angle and MVP and Aries, Roode, etc. But I don't like his chances

I haven't watched TNA since they moved to Destination America, because Comcast charges extra to watch DA where I live. If it was on a basic cable station, I'd probably watch. ROH and Lucha Libre Underground I can watch for free, but no TNA. :noway:
