I recognize the one on the right as Velvet Sky. Is the blonde Taryn Terrell, or whatever her name is?

They divorced soon after marrying. She's since had a baby though (unlikely related to Drew)

A report going around that TNA tried to poach several ROH stars and were turned down unanimously.

Keep in mind that I haven't watched TNA at all probably since the start of the year (maybe longer) but I accidentally watched about 3 minutes of Impact last night because my tv was on Spike and the show I was watching on DVR ended. It was Jeff Hardy doing his Willow character. That **** is absolute garbage. He sucks no matter what iteration of him they trot out there. His ring work is passable still but he is the lamest duck that has ever ducked when it comes to characters. I'd be fine never seeing that **** again.

I think Hardy is another one that needs to be put out to pasture. That Willow **** is dumb as ****. I can see why he stopped using it once he actually made it. It comes across as a starter gimmick for a guy getting into pro wrestling which is exactly where he should have left it, back in OMEGA where it belongs.

I don't mind character changes when offense changes with it. but he's doing the same **** he's done since Velocity just with a dumbass character attached and that stoopid **** laugh/scream thing he does with it.

It defeats the purpose of having a different character when they constantly say it's Jeff Hardy, we all knew it was, so if they don't say it, then it becomes insulting. Point is, once you achieve a high enough level of fame, you can't just totally revamp a character like that and expect it to be ok, at least, if you do, you have to use a whole new moveset, look, i mean EVERYTHING.

So I went to my buddy's place who for some reason ordered Slammiversary and so I watched both this and the Spurs winning the title. And maybe its because I had the lowest possible expectations, but I came away thinking it was a pretty good PPV. In retrospect I guess I shouldn't have been too surprised since if you minimize the overbooking TNA should put on a good PPV because regardless of whether the story line going into it is good, most TNA wrestlers are quite good. The women's match disappointed and the James Storm-Anderson match was probably too short but other than that I thought every other match was solid. Even Magnus-Willow/Hardy was better than I thought it would be.

Agreed... really enjoyed quite a bit of it. The closing moments of the main event was awesome... Aries sold that piledriver like his skull was caved in. Damn shame about the overbooking in the Bully Ray match, but it seems they're actually building to Dixie getting tabled, so there's hope there.

In LOLTNA fashion, he was supposed to take the title from Eric Young.

They're probably sooooo happy they didn't tape episodes before Slammiversary.
