I recently heard (on a podcast) something similar, but not quite the exact same. I forget which podcast it was, probably the Observer, but the story was that Vince had recently become open to the idea of selling, after seeing how much UFC sold for. It wasn't so much that he was actively shopping the company but more so that he wouldn't rule out selling it if the right deal came along.

During the most recent conference call Vince was asked, specifically in light of the UFC's sale, if he'd consider selling WWE and his response was "We're open for business." That's a vague enough answer that you can't say he's explicitly open to it. But he didn't say no. And so yeah, that seems to lend credence that if someone were to put forth the right figure he'd consider it.

I have only listened to 1 of the conference calls with Vince and found it to be pretty boring. On the other hand, the calls with Triple H are pretty interesting and mildly entertaining at points. I like listening to him talk about the business a lot more than Vince.

They're incredibly boring and I've only listened to snippets of them. I just saw that quote in a recap article of it.

The HHH ones are way more interesting because he's not talking stock prices and financial projections and all that other stuff. My favorite one was from about a year ago with the December NXT show and this was when Raw was in a really bad place creatively with the Sheamus-Reigns feud. And their were a lot of 'NXT does x well, why does Raw do x poorly' type questions, it was so awkward. I loved it.

Finn looks pretty healthy. I'm sure he's not cleared to wrestle yet but the fact that he did anything physical is pretty shocking. I'd bet he's a surprise entrant at the Rumble.

He really should go to Japan. He can be their number one star and I want to see him take apart the BC.

I feel bad for him too, because someone is guaranteed to photoshop his face on Charlotte's body now. Hope they keep her hair.

Hey it could be worse, Cesaro. You could be out of the tour for all you know.

I would be shocked if he isn't a late entrant in the Royal Rumble. It would be a perfect way to bring him back without him having to do much in the ring.

Apparently the Elimination Chamber is being brought back as a Raw exclusive PPV in 2017. I love that they're bringing this back but would much rather it be a Raw & Smackdown event.

Elimination Chamber being a Raw PPV means a SmackDown guy is winning the Rumble, right?

or replace AJ as the new Ace (then again Kenny has been solid at least), either way he should go to New Japan and become a main eventer (i think Kidaani said Cesaro was 1 of 2 people he would take from WWE, other being Ziggler strangely enough)

So apparently Elimination Chamber is now a Smackdown exclusive (which pretty much means a Raw guy wins the RR) and Fastlane is a Raw event. That sucks because I was really looking forward to Fastlane being Smackdown since I will be there.

Just saw that John Cena will be hosting SNL next Saturday. I've really enjoyed this season and know he's got the comedic chops to pull it off.

He just landed a lead role in a comedy too. The man's starting to find some footing in Hollywood and these are both huge steps for him

So what's everyone's WrestleMania matches?

I got

Pre-Show:

American Alpha (c) vs. The Uso's
André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
Cesaro vs. Rusev w/ Lana vs. Sami Zayn vs. Sheamus - #1 Contender for U.S. or Universal Title

WM33:

Gallows & Anderson (c) vs. Enzo & Cass vs. New Day
Becky (c) vs. Charlotte - Charlotte wins the Women's Royal Rumble
AJ vs. Finn - Cross brand match
Bray vs. Orton
Reigns (c) vs. Strowman
Owens (c) vs. Jericho - Jericho wins the Royal Rumble
Dean vs. Shane - Dean starts his heel run
Seth vs. HHH
Brock vs. Goldberg
Sasha (c) vs. Bayley
Undertaker (c) vs. Cena

The roster is stacked. Calling up Joe or Nakamura won't do them any favors cause they'll get left off the WM card. This is 14 matches and I still feel like I'm leaving too many people off. I hope Big Show/Shaq doesn't happen.

I kind of agree with gambit. I don't think its a work in the sense that there's some story line that's been conceived to pay off Cesaro's discontent. I do however think its very possible that he's been given the green light by the higher up's to lodge complaints like this as a way to garner him more fan support.
