Amazing? The Jimmy Uso turn was the most nonsensical angle in 2023. It reeks of Vince Russo shock TV. The guy was the first to break away from Roman because he was being a brother. Makes zero sense to do it just to protect Jey while keeping the strap on Roman.

Yeah I think the Jimmy interference and explanation was poorly done.

I get wanting to keep Jey looking strong and not being beaten thanks to Solo but it would have been a easier sell if Solo costs Jey the match and then Jimmy returns on Smackdown & the Uso's try to convince Solo he's being used without Roman even around.

Jimmy & Jey don't attack him - they just walk away.

Furthers the story of Roman only being out for himself and using his family for his own gain and continues to plant seeds of Solo questioning where he stands.

Interesting to see how long they leave Jey off TV. Having him return in 2 weeks isn't a long enough break. 3 weeks probably isn't either

It also makes Roman look super weak. He had solo helping plenty, and STILL needed more help from jimmy??? Night and day from how he was booked in the beginning of his run. Like that hell in a cell match from 2020 he dominated Jey and handled his business. Jimmy tried to interfere on Jeys behalf and Roman beat him up too forcing jey to give up.

Reminds me of how poor Jinder Mahal was booked as champ. Should be have been champ in the 1st place? Probably not. But they did him zero favors and made him look bad as well. The pinnacle was the pujami prison match. Essentially 3 on 1 and STiLL needed more help from Great Khali. Just awful booking man. I would have still did the Khali spot at the end , but had the match go 1 on 1 up until then. Have the announcers sell it throughout the match too like "wow jinder is holding his own despite no Singh brothers".

Sometimes less is more especially with Heel champions. In HHH's NXT he had plenty of heel champions that were capable of successful title defenses without outside help.

Agree it made Roman look less than he needed to.

Between him and Solo beating down Jey the 450+ day champ couldn't get it done? He needed Jimmy?

I think the idea there was to elevate Jey to another level but let's be honest: no one expected him to beat Roman. He's not going to be THE guy. Nothing wrong with that though.

It'll be interesting to see where this goes now but they're walking on a thin line

I wonder who Cena will be doing a short program with, continuing with Waller? Or is he going after bigger fish

I mean there are a couple of options.

Waller.

Take the tittle off Roman because Roman wants to be done for a while.

Put over Bo so you can give him a push in honor of his brother.

From a logical storyline standpoint, what sense does it back for JImmy to want back in the bloodline after all that? Feel like creative didnt know how to book the Jey/Reigns match to keep the belt on Roman and make Jey look strong, so they threw this garbage on the walls hoping it sticks.

Hot take. They don't need him. He's green. Not a good promo. Really need a few years and shouldn't be on TV yet. Oba femi is already as good or better. 20 guys in next are better. He's not jacked jacked he's kind of just unimpressive looking. He's just Keith Lee off wish. Sure he has a little name value but like how much?

We all knew the Bayley thing was coming, but I think it's a mistake. The 3 jap chicks are great together, but they need a Paul Heyman and Bayley was good for that role. I guess Dakota gets that role now?
