I think it'd be hilarious if Vince entered the Rumble at #30

Sami & Cody should be the first 2 entrants.

Have them go all the way through, Jey is there with them at the end and tosses Zayn before Cody throws Jey out.

Cody gets his shot night 1 to win the belt "his Daddy never won".

Assuming Rock can't do night 2 you have Sami win the Elimination Chamber and challenge Roman for the other belt on night 2.

Now the belts are split, 2 feel good stories to tell and Roman's glorious title reign made 2 different dudes into "main eventers"

Cody can go on to defend his title vs Seth, Sami gets betrayed by KO during his Smackdown celebration with the Bloodline and Roman...

Takes a break until Summerslam where he can go against someone like Brock, Drew, Lashley etc

Ideally you'd position Roman v Sami to headline 2024 Mania while Cody has his run on Raw away from the Bloodline completely

The WWE feels like it has so many over stars right now, I can't recall it being like this in awhile. Reigns, Zayn, Gunther, Cody, Rollins, Ripley, Bianca and then to a lesser extent KO, Becky, Usos etc...

What a damn wild rumble. Only a couple things to really pick on.

I hate how they just jobbed out montez in the rumble. That dude's main event level and they do nothing with him. Former marine, bianca's husband, dudes a star and they did more with dockins in the rumble than Ford?

The pitch back match was cool but needed like 10 more minutes to breath. Also bo Dallas need to aim better lol.

The Alexa stuff is .... Meh at best.

Other than that pretty damn good show.

Gunther is **** amazing.

Cody looked great

I hate Logan's guts but kid can go.

No big returns for the men, unless you count gargano and really he needs to be in a tag team with Dexter they need more tags teams.

Lady's out on a good show.

By God probably one of if not the best stories ever told in the WWE ever. I mean the turn was amazing and I think they need to give Sammy one of the belts. Have Cody come out tomorrow and declare he's coming for the WWE tittle and make it clear he doesn't want the universal belt!

Yes the Sami storyline has been great, but we're hitting all sorts of hyperbolic stretches here. Best ever? I think a lot of this is comparing the trash we've had to sit through for years now.

But off the top of my head, Hogan turning, the Sting/NWO (except terrible ending because of Hogan's ego), Rock becoming Corporate Champ than feuding with Austin, and Batista turning on Trips/Evolution we're all far better.

Andre turning on Hogan

Savage and Liz reuniting

Hogan & Savage falling out over Liz

Summer of Punk II (since ROH did it first)

NWA:

Dusty getting his leg broken by the Horsemen

Dusty getting spiked by the Road Warriors

Dusty/Koloff/Magnum TA story

Sting getting booted from the Horsemen, injured then coming back to take the throne.

ECW:

Raven & Dreamer saga

Emotional investment actually matters! Imagine that!

Underrated or maybe underappreciated but everyone in that storyline made everything work. People were waiting for this the whole time and now we got it, we're waiting for what's next. Things only raised more question marks. This may not be the best story in history but it's definitely up there, and we even ain't done yet!

Also, KANAAAAAAAAAA!!!

I disagree. I think we just witnessed perfect wrestling storytelling.

My favourite storytelling of recent memory was the Daniel Bryan story. That was two years in the making!

I have only watched wrestling sporadically basically since the pandemic so I haven't seen all of Romans heel work, unfortunately, but there's no doubt he's a superstar. I also haven't seen this entire story line but for what I have seen, it's been excellent. I definitely enjoyed watching the turn tonight. Was definitely invested, it was great work by everyone invovled. Can't wait for elimination chamber next month in Montreal, I'm going to be there!

I didn't think either rumble was spectacular but I preferred the mens to the ladies. Was some really good performances all around. Gunther truly is the ring general. Loved seeing Liv get right to the end too.

To me, I think you have to split the world titles and defend them both at WM. Have Roman go up against Cody on night one, Sami on night two. I see a lot of people defending Sami and KO being in the tag title picture with the Uso's for WM, but with as hot as Sami is right now, I think he absolutely deserves a main event match for a world title instead. They made the right call by pulling the trigger on Bryan at WM 30 and they need to do the same thing with Sami right now too.

Ive felt for a while combining the belts have hurt both shows. Each show needs a title and most PPV's should have two world title matches.

As for the Rumble, I am happy with both winners. Rumble matches were fine overall, though the woman's match got boring in the middle in my opinion.

Of course Roman/KO/Sami killed it. Good match and fantastic story.

The bad was very bad though. I absolutely hate Bray and that match was garbage. Bray has no wrestling ability whatsoever and all he does is build build build for months towards a match that will be garbage. Belair/Bliss was also pretty bad.

Honestly I felt the card was missing a good tag team title match. I know Usos were involved in the main Roman story, but their matches are generally so good and a highlight of any PPV.
