Really tough choice. I like Vaughan and Wright. I would pick Wright but only if Stotts promises to put the %$#@ ball in his hands. Also Damn how did Rockets fans pass up Tyus?

Draft Delon Wright.
Let Gee and Freeland go.
Resign Dorell Wright to play stretch PF and some backup SF.
The Wright Brothers fly in Portland.

I went with Wright in that scenario but would prefer Anderson. Would also like to acquire a 2nd rounder with which to draft Upshaw.

Obviously it's not an option here but I say trade sown and draft Upshaw and Harrison. I was on the D Wright bandwagon until i talked to a scout who said he homestly believes Harrison is an better prospect and "miles ahead" of Wright at the same age. He sorta popped my bubble but opened my eyes to the possibility of trading down.

There is a decent chance Portland would take a flyer on the French big in
this draft to either stash overseas or as part in a trade for wiretap reported
a week or so ago that the Knicks wanted Late first pick to get that French
big.

Small consolation for not drafting Gobert...

Interesting to know. I haven't been sold on Wright. Agreed, let's trade down. Harrison was projected as a lottery pick only a year ago and a top 5 player of his class. Kentucky was clearly not an environment in which to shine with so much talent.

When you say Harrison, I assume you mean Andrew, and not his twin brother, who's also in this draft.

I guess your scout friend is saying that Wright was the worst PG in America at age 20, because Harrison is really really not good right now. He shot 37% on TWO POINTERS! When you're a PG with all those All-American options to pass to, how do you take such bad shots?

Harrison could definitely become the better player in a few years, but sometimes the smart pick is the bird in the hand.

In the interest of time, let's call it for Delon Wright. Thanks for playing.

I'd go with Wright or Anderson or RHJ if he falls, would like high 2nd or late first to take a shot at UpShaw or Hernogomez

Romar described Upshaw as a kid who made mistakes €“those self-destructive mistakes common with addicts, €“ but who remained a good kid deep down. Romar told of times when Upshaw ran into some extra money, like when a check for a Pell Grant came through, and he'd go buy food and give it to homeless people. That was something he'd do on his own, without telling people. When the team had community service events, Upshaw was the first one to want to go, and would end up becoming the star of the event. He's a big man with a big personality.

This is from an article D69 brought to my attention. Seriously? That is more than enough for me to give him a another chance. He has obviously sought help and is dealing with the mental aspect of his issue. He will continue to battle it as many people battle things each day but if he has that type of defensive ability and the type of heart where he is buying groceries for the homeless with his Grant money, sign me up to take the risk.

missed the vote. honestly, I haven't had the time to research the draft much, but as I've said earlier, Wright fits the mold of an Olshey pick. while he might not be the guy I would choose if I had some free time to do a bit more research, my gut feeling, and it's just that - a gut feeling, is that if Wright is available, Olshey takes a flyer on him.

Misssed the vote as well but I would go Upshaw and then cross my fingers. Honestly I don't really know much at all about any of those guys listed so I am not the best to ask.
