Man this has been a painfully boring draft.

rather than gamble on Upshaw than gamble on Hibbert? and I'm the forum drunk! :D

shot blocking center who played at Fresno State and Lossington before being kicked off for drug offenses, but according to his pre-draft interviews, he's totally legit now. the fact he has slid this far makes me seriously question that it was just pot...

Talented defensive bigman who REAALLY likes hard drugs and got kicked off his team.

allegedly really loves hardcore drugs. but if he can limit his vices to pot and strippers, he's perfect for Portland. for all we know, he could have fallen for medical reasons, like chronic pain.

Vonleh home town guy, CJ gives them another ball handler and cap space

good god I sure hope not

Hibbert is vastly overrated around here and his game is becoming a dinosaur in the evolved NBA

besides that, Portland would have to send out 10.3 million in salary to pass CBA muster

I suppose a package of Henderson, Kaman, & Blake is acceptable...that would only take 2 million off Portland's potential cap-space. Still, I wouldn't want Hibbert as a Blazer, especially with Stotts as coach

Pat Connaughton! The white guy with a 79" vertical. He hits threes in big moments and rebounds like a mother!

I like Pat over RHJ. Did Brooklyn pick up the option on Plumlee?

Pat seems pretty good. Still kinda awkward given the Dame tweet and stuff.

79" vertical sounds very optimistic.

I actually like the plumlee move. Get a cheap center who put up relatively efficient numbers and offload blake and all we gave up was a late first. Plumlee ran out of favor in hollins's system but he's on a rookie contract and he's probably better than a number 23 pick is on average by himself, add to this the fact that we got a first round pick six spots lower and this is a great value.

Not a fan. Plumlee is average and the other's guy got a low ceiling.

I think it frees up a few million more in cap space. Downside of Connoughton is that he may be headed to MLB before I figure out how to spell his last name.

Pat seems like a really good roleplayer. Like Parsons for a SG. How was he so low?

If he jumps twice. But seriously, it's 44". Pretty sure he used witchcraft to pull it off.
