CB will only get a vet min if he signs this season with a team. That's fine with him considering the Heat will be still paying him his massive contract.

Whatever team signs him will be under major scrutiny for signing a guy who's got such a serious condition.

Yea I haven't read a lot on his condition aside from them saying if a doctor clears him to play he can play. It seems like MIA may be refusing to let him play because they feel in the least he won't be worth his contract. But it sounds possible that he could be able to play again.

I redesigned the Blazers uniforms in NBA 2K17. Here is how they turned out:

tonight, against the Pelicans, Westbrook had a poor man's quadruple-double:

28 points
17 rebounds
12 assists

10 turnovers

he's actually averaging a triple double so far 31.2 pts, 10.5 reb, 11.3 ast. Extremely imprssive; however he's averaging 5.5 turnovers...yikes! The funny thing is, Harden is averaging 5.6 turnovers. I guess high turnovers comes with doing it all fro a team

something to keep an eye on: last season, Harden set an NBA record with 374 turnovers. If both Westbrook and Harden keep up their current pace and play every game, Harden would smash his record with 459 turnovers; Westbrook would smash it too with 451

something to keep in mind though is that the career leaders for turnovers reads like a HOF list:

1. Karl Malone* 4524
2. John Stockton* 4244
3. Kobe Bryant 4010
4. Jason Kidd 4003
5. Moses Malone* 3804
6. Isiah Thomas* 3682
7. Hakeem Olajuwon* 3667
8. Patrick Ewing* 3537
9. Paul Pierce 3519
10. Magic Johnson* 3506
11. Reggie Theus 3493
12. Steve Nash 3478
13. LeBron James 3387
14. Tim Duncan 3381
15. Charles Barkley* 3376
16. Shaquille O'Neal* 3310
17. Allen Iverson* 3262
18. Scottie Pippen* 3257
19. Robert Parish* 3183
20. Kevin Garnett 3179
21. Mark Jackson 3155
22. Andre Miller 3121
23. Gary Payton* 3030
24. Clyde Drexler* 2977
25. Michael Jordan* 2924
26. Dwyane Wade 2919
27. Rod Strickland 2862
28. Alex English* 2821
29. Larry Bird* 2816
30. Bernard King* 2791

All of a sudden I think Lillard needs more turnovers.

Would you mind letting me know what the asterixes mean (if you know)? Just my curiosity getting the better of me.

that asterisk means that player is actually in the Hall of Fame. Obviously, Kobe, Kidd, Pierce, Nash, Lebron, Duncan, KG, and DWade will get there when they are eligible. Mark Jackson, maybe. Strickland won't and I doubt Andre Miller will, although he might just because of his amazing durability and dependability.

Cause when your right hand makes you a very good living you should use it to punch someone in the face. People actually would trade for this guy? Almost as dumb as any team wanting Rondo.

Today I realized that every player on the roster played NCAA ball. No community college kids, no European guys, no straight outta high school players. The last time that happened was 94/95.

Wanna know why Giannis fell to 15 and was pegged into late 1st? Look at Dante Exum.

I really never had the Rockets pegged as being this good.

Int'l player with very little exposure to evaluate predraft. Like a mystery box.

Oh, I gotcha. Yeah, you're totally right! For every Gannis, there's 20 Exum's or worse. That may even be generous. Gannis was a total surprise, I'm sure even to the Bucks. I seriously doubt even the Bucks GM knew he was going to be this good.

http://stats.nba.com/players/pullup/#!?sort=PULL_UP_PTS&dir=1

Something I have been tracking since last season, been interested in this since McCollum blew up last year. Turns out he is one of the best shot creators and scorers off the dribble that lead to a jump-shot.

This year he is 4th in PPG off pullup jumpshots (Shots taken after at least 1 dribble and outside the paint) behind Westbrook CP3 and DDR at 8.6ppg and is 3rd in terms of FG% on those shots for the top players at 44.8% so far this year. A big reason why DDr is so good this year is cause he improved that shot of his...by a whole lot this year (Was bottom of barrel last year). He and Chris Paul are the only people averaging more PPG on this type of shot with a higher percentage than CJ (45 and 45.1% ). As for EFG% since they take more 3 pointers on this type of shot it makes sense that Lowry and Paul shoot a higher EFG% on such shots at 55% and 53% compared to McCollums 50%

Some players who are know as deadly shooters off the dribble are anything but this year (Curry 31.7%FG and 41%EFG Harden34.8%FG and 46EFG% Lillard 36.5%FG% and 45.1%)

Interesting because last year McCollum finished 4th in pts per game aswell at 8.4ppg behind Curry, KD and Paul. Shooting a better FG% on such shots than KD but lagging behind Curry and CP3 and a better EFG% on those shots than Paul, but behind KD and Curry.

The reason I point this out is cause that is some damn good company he finds himself in, also I find shooting off the dribble as a tough thing to defend when you tighten the screws. Think about it, how many times has Durant made a tough shot off the dribble only to make defenders and coaches on the sideline throw their arms up in the air...or Curry or CP3 (who has been doing so for a decade).

You can always raise the curtain on drives and shots at the rim given the right personnel and proven system, but shooting off the dribble via eclectic moves is not only an aesthetically pleasing aspect of basketball, but also a time honored tradition on courts around the world. McCollum along with those players is world class in that regard.

Yeah were not catching the Grizz. The way they just beat the Warriors on the road, damn.

Still 7ht place isn't ad for the year given how we started, the West is tough and 1-4 would be a battle. Still hope we get 7th and play whoever is 2nd between Hou and SA.

Man Devin Booker fell off a cliff this year.
