He is getting better. It's happening in fits and starts but he is getting better.

Unlike others I'm not worried about Scoot, so I'll instead comment on someone I have been worried on in the past:

Ant is showing improvement in running the offense and getting the ball into the post. That's good to see from him.

Ant's also improved in drawing fouls, which is crucial for his game. I still don't think he's a natural point, but him improving his passing so far this season and showing improvement in foul acquisition is so key. And he's a firecracker from outside.

Portland does have some young talent. When they get Ayton and Grant back, they will win a few games.

Maybe so but I feel like neither impact the teams success nearly as much as one would think

Feeling crummy, so I couldn't watch the game, but from the box score, it looks like Ant, Shaedon, and Scoot all did well. That's great to see! Ant and Shaedon might be proving me wrong -- I'll be ecstatic if that's the case!

Nice to see Scoot with a pretty damn impressive stat line, apparently coming off the bench is utilizing him better or allows him to not have as much pressure.

As much as I dislike Chauncey's ability, you have to feel for the guy. His big man rotation is down to a couple of centers who would struggle in the G-league(Reathe, Brown), and a couple of inexperienced, late second round 6"7 combo forwards (Camara, Walker).

And it wasn't that they were doing a horrible job on their man - anytime they challenged a driver, there was no help coming to cover Zubac or box him out. The result was a series of easy dunks, layups and offensive boards.
We did do a better job in the second half.

Am I the only one who would prefer the size and rebounding Moses brings over the shooting Duop brings?

This game was the most fun I have had watching Portland all season - and I think a part of that was the simple absence of Grant and to a lesser extent Brogdan.

The Clippers were 13 point favorites in this game, while this may not be an actual win this is a competitive loss in a very tough situation with injuries.

I like the triple S and think this backcourt has the potential to be incredibly good in the future. We might have to trade one of them just because of the cost of keeping all three together might end up ridiculous, but for now we can keep all three and it will help us.
