Scoot is out with an adductor strain or something.

Like zzaj already is, I am admitting the little injuries piling up are.. concerning. Not a concern yet, but concerning.

Is that the same issue Sharpe has?

20 years after Oden almost and it seems like we still haven't figured out how to hire someone decent for strength and conditioning

I wonder if the team is trying to lose out, hoping a 15-67 record gets them a top 3 spot before
the lottery

Yep. Color me worried. He's missed 11 games so far this year. A grade 1 groin strain is like 2 weeks. That's 6 more games if Scoot's injury is a mild strain. Wouldn't surprise me if he misses 25% of the season when it's all said and done. That's not good...injuries are a momentum killer--especially in young players.

My hope is that this is just a minor tweak and he'll only miss a couple of games.

Before the game Chauncey apparently said he tweaked it over all-star and they just wanted to give him another day or two rest. I guess we'll see for real on Sunday.

Given blazers history with these strains (Lillard/Sharp/Naz) and now Scoot I would suggest giving Scoot extra time to heal up

In that same vein I'd also be looking at the training staff curiosly.

Listening to Danny Marang’s pod, apparently the Blazers have switched training staffs a few times over the last 5 years.

Yep, like they should have done with Shaedon.
