Bennett-Cousins would be the worst interior defense off the league in the next 10 years.

Draft Burke no matter what.

Not a chance. Cousins is solid on that end and Bennett certainly has the tools to be just fine. Plus you still have other pieces on the team in the frontcourt that provide defense when needed. If Zach Randolph can be a part of a similar style frontcourt and help lead one of the best defensive teams in the league then they should have no issues.

You draft Bennett because Cousins/Bennett is going to just smash teams inside and out. That would be one of the most diverse frontcourts in the league plus it would allow you to stretch the floor like crazy. Then, you stack the wing with defenders.

yeah bt zach randolph plays with THE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR....i do agree after watching memphis this playoffs i would love to see a high low game with cus and bennett like gasol and randolph and jus taking turns pounding teams in the post, bt defensively neither one of those guys are shot blockers...and cus is lazy when rotating which is a disaster for someone who doent block shots...bt offensively i would love to see it! defensively... lets see whos the coach and can they bleed in cus head: rotate rotate rotate hard

If we drafted Bennett to pair up with Cousins, I sure hope JT would be on his way out. I just love what I saw from Patterson after the trade that he needs to be in the rotation. If we could get rid of JT and grab a shot blocking big off the bench...Dalembert? A big man rotation of Bennett/Patterson at PF and Cousins/Dally at center would be really nice...Trade JT and Hayes for expirings if possible.

Edit: I saw someone brought up a trade with the Nuggets in the trade forum... JT/Thornton FOR McGee....I know the attitude and feelings toward McGee isn't that great, but as a shot blocker off the bench I feel like he'd be perfect fit in the 2nd unit with Patterson (if we were to draft Bennett)

Big fan of Burkes and Shabazz interviews....Noel and Porter's were just okay...didn't watch anyone elses

I was impressed by Oladipo's interview. Sounds like he has quite the work ethic. Might want to check it out, too.

yea great interview....I feel like he'd be the ultimate role player/glue guy....Sucks he a SG in the NBA though, arguably our most stacked position (if tyreke resigns)

This is how my top four looks like, too. I like Noel's shot blocking and his all around potential, especially on defene; However, he wasn't as dominate as I though he would be in college, and his injuries could hold him back a bit. He might even be injury prone and that worries me.

yes, i honestly love otto porter and trey burkes fit... otto porter has the size and length... if he ends up to have a tayshan prince career, ill be happy..i kno he nt the shooter that prince is, bt he can get better... and im jus tired of that damn three spot...

Which was a somewhat odd choice IMO. He's not even the best defender on his team, but much like some of the other awards, it's not the best defensive player of all, just the year. Somebody on the Grizz had to get it and Gasol is solid and his abilities and/or lack thereof on that end are the reason why Cousins could be just as good if he works on it. Oh, that and if the team doesn't try to out gun everybody of course. The Grizz have some really good defensive personnel as well and much like the team I would put around them, it's mostly on the wing. The defense the Grizz play has just as much to do with their offense as much as anything. They control the clock and let their size and inside play do the talking. They get the ball up quick, but they don't shoot quick very often and when they do they tend to lose that battle.

Bennett makes zero sense for us imo.

We need to start making some SENSE in our roster, not add more problems to it.

All the drafting talk is moot until we know what our future front-office plans to do in the summer though, specifically with Tyreke and DeMarcus.

Thomas had games with one assist, ONE! Lmao. That's terrible, and is extremely frustrating to watch! That's the primary reason I'm particularly keen to the Idea of acquiring a new PG. I understand that Burke is a scorer and has some similarities to 'IT;' however, with that said, I'm assuming Burke (Averaged 6.7 assits this season), can share the rock more favorably -- or at least I'm hoping.

i agree 100% about IT and why i would rather try burke..IT is robinson 2.0, a gunner like most players from seattle..hes ok when he lets the game come to him, bt when he tries to be cp3 its sad and makes me go insane..

I want to trade back to 20th pick and draft Giannis Adetokoubo. A small forward that can play PG with good handle and passing skills. He has potential to be an excellent defender and he's only 18. I proposed this in another thread but I'd like to see something like #7, John Salmons & Travis Outlaw to Bulls for #20 & Luol Deng. I think he'd be a great fit for us at SF right now and mentor for Adetokoubo. Watching YouTube, Adetokoubo looks Durant-esque.

With the 36th pick I'd like to take Andre Roberson. He plays his ass off every game and doesn't look to score. We have enough scorers. He's a great athlete that rebounds and plays defense. Two of our weaknesses. I'm thinking a blend of Draymond Green and Kenneth Faried.

Agreed. That would be awesome. Only problem is, I doubt the Bucks consider that trade. I'm not sure if having Ellis' ego on the team is a good idea, but perhaps we acquire him via free agency. He has a player option this offseason, right? Maybe he'd like to play for Vivek, who knows. Then trade Thornton & Thompson for Sanders. Still not sure if they'd agree to that trade, but it might be more acceptable. Only way I see that happening, honestly.

i just watched that guys tape he does look good and i would do that deal with the bulls in a heart beat and draft giannis...bt no way the bucks do that trade and no way do i want monta ellis....i think the bulls trade is good though, maybe they do the deal? jimmy butler is clearly the future at the sf and they will save some money and get a lottery pick..maybe they take bennett?
