Can we hurry up already and sign Josh Smith with every penny we have left. Rajon and Rudy need to convince him to come here. Then once he's signed resign Reggie Evans to vet minimum. Then someone like Ish Smith, Sergio Rodriguez or Andre Miller as 3rd PG.

But we already have 12 players on the roster:

1st string:

G Rondo
SG McLemore
C Koufos
F/C Cousins
SF Gay

2nd String:

PG Collison
SG Belinelli
C Cauley-Stein (?)
PF Cauley-Stein (?)
SF Casspi

3rd String

SG Anderson
SF Butler
PG Stockton

Luc's been banged up for awhile now. Hopefully his body is going to hold up.

If so that's a good fella to have on the bench.

Yeah his body is a bit banged up in the last several years but just this past season he played 67 games and started 61 of those games -- while playing 28.6 min/gm. I think this sort of revival is encouraging, imo.

Luc Mbah a Moute switched pick-and-rolls at the league's second-highest rate in the regular season

Some good stuff on Luc:

Basically, like with James Anderson, the assistant coaches liked him in Philly, so they want to bring him here...

The only thing banged up when they traded him was the Kings defense after he was gone. :x

Luc is another solid locker room guy and a pro that can really help the young guys. He can play 3-4-5, tho he has slowed down a bit since he was with us last. The good thing is he still plays defense and seeing his athletic abilities changing he was smart enough to adjusted his game. Worked on his shot over last offseason and during the year last year and and was shooting a decent percentage at the end of the year. He keeps improving he will be a nice pick up for us and will fit right in with the style we wanna play. I like this more then Bargnani even tho Marco probably was stumping for him. Let's get it done Vlade!

hey, Quincy Miller is probably available (once the Nets release him)
This time around Sacramento could give him a real chance. Good player.

Jason Jones tweeted we didn't go after Ellis, and we only missed on Matthews

National media lying to ruin our reputation

Ellis never made sense in our starting unit

I have more faith in the management now than ever after hearing that.

Also looks like Luc is back so that's good. Still some questionable shooting prowess as a whole but the individual defensive abilities have jumped 10 fold. Great to have Luc back!

You're speaking as if it's a done deal? I know there have been rumored talks but I haven't seen anything official. Personally I hope it doesn't happen because that would mean no Josh Smith.

I'm keeping positive thoughts that we sign Smoove, Professor & Reggie and call it the most successful offseason since CWeb, Vlade & JWill.

I saw something pass by on the twitter feed from one of the news10 people, Sean Cunningham I think? Anyway, he he said he talked to Luc and Luc said he's excited to be back or something like that. Sounds like a done deal to me.

EDIT: yep here it is:

Josh is a better talent, Luc is a better defender and is a better role player so I think he'll be great. Also, he fits right in with the switching mentality. You could put him and Rudy together and Luc can easily guard the PF or the SG/SF.

Damn you're right...

Kinda flew under the radar, but spoke to Luc Mbah a Moute about returning to the Kings - he's thrilled to be back and healthy.

I guess no Smoove. He must be choosing teams expected to contend over $5 million and friendships with Rajon & Rudy.

Return to Sacramento Kings
