I don't speak Turkish but this doesn't look good for Bogdan.
Rolled his ankle pretty badly.

We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.

We don't have our pick in 2019 and the reality is we should be trying to win the lottery next year. We have the next two years to add talent and then it's going to be sink or swim for whatever group we put together to start the 2018-19 season. Kanter doesn't help that in any way shape or form.
Even though it's a moot point because OKC can't trade a 1st until 2022, I think you severely underestimate Kanter's impact. He's an elite rebounder and an elite scorer. He was one of the biggest reasons why OKC was able to take GSW to 7 games in the WCF last year. Kanter is a valuable NBA player even if he's a bad defender. And his contract isn't that bad either. He has 1 more year at $18 Million with a Player Option for $18.6 Million for the year after that. With guys like Allen Crabbe, Evan Turner, Bismack Biyombo, Timofey Mozgov, and Luol Deng getting contracts in that same annual range for the next 3 seasons, Kanter is a steal.

You're not taking into consideration playstyle. Empty stats guys are empty stats guys but in this case its closer to a detrimental stats guy. Rudy Gay is another prime example. If you have Gay or Kanter clogging up the middle of the floor for you and touching the ball all the time you're entire team is going to suffer even if that guy is dropping 20 a night. Vlade should be cultivating a modern lineup. Kanter doesn't fit. I want triple threat guys at the wing and guard positions and athletic bigs like WCS and Skal. Hard pass.
c3j3h wrote:Man nobody is talking about building the team around him. The idea is you trade for the last year remaining on his contract in order to get a 1st Round pick. Can always flip him again. Plus he would actually fit pretty well next to a guy like Skal.

Every player you add is a player you build with.
That being said, I can't see OKC giving up a first round pick to dump Kanter.

Curious as to where you all are at with WCS. I'm wondering if there is any sort of deal between us where we do a pick swap (assuming we stay put in the lottery) that would include WCS.
(#8 or #10) + WCS
for
#6 + ?????
As of now, DX has Malik Monk slotted in the #6 spot. If you think he can run the point, a line-up built around Monk and Hield plus your other draft choice seems like a great start to a rebuild.

Just keep it simple:
The Kings keep their 2 lotto picks and use them for themselves.

Good lord these trades are awful for simply trying to move up 5 spots.
