I usually don't give us much a chance on b2bs with our style, it would be huge to get one

Gotta say they are looking pretty damn good here!

A fifth win on this road trip (and they are fully capable of beating Cleveland) is a heck of a trip.

Love the point made.

Curry drops 60 and they lose to ATl.

Fox drops 40 and we beat a Bulls team on three days rest on a B 2 B on he sixth game of a seven game road trip.

Cavs are 12-1 in last 13 with only loss on the road versus bucks

Catching them at the wrong time at the end of the trip

But it’s been a good trip anyways

Agreed and yes 5-2 at this time of the year is a really nice roll and statement going into the ASB.

That said, something has “clicked” ever since the last home game they won. It’s not so much about a bunch of crazy blowouts. But we all know how tough winning on the road is no matter what. They have been playing their game and playing it right. Granted there are still holes to fill and adjustments to make. They absolutely need to be putting away the weaker teams and not letting teams back in to make it tough. But really that’s been the story of the league this year. It’s turned to a truly any given night sort of situation because there is much greater parity, fall off if the older stars and expansion is desperately needed to dilute the talent some.

I was going to say it before we actually slipped to 7th, but with PHX/New Oleans remaining schedule and ours, it will be tough not to be a playin

As many have speculated here, Keon is converted to a standard deal for three years. That fills the last open roster spot and opens a new two way spot.

Good for Keon, I'm a fan. Don't want to see Davion get another minute for this team. Let Keon cook until we move davion this summer.

Great contact. He's clearly our best defensive guard. Good size to him, and can play with any of the 3 guards in the rotation. 38% from deep with room to grow. Best Kings news I've heard this week lol

Sabonis solid again, but Fox is disappointing against his all star rival.

Shai is officiated tighter than any player outside embid. You literally cannot breath on him. Kings with no answer for Jaylen Williams tonight. You know shai is gonna get his.

Either way, GO NINERS!!

Fox IMO needs to be benched these games, as the team truly does have a better win % without him. You can't have him going -27 and still playing mid 30 minutes these games.

TBH at this point the only thing that really makes sense is that he cheated in a road trip and got caught.

If he isn’t injured and there is no admitted direct beef with anyone or the media? Nothing else makes sense.

I think he got into it with the coaching staff. Until the last few minutes of the 1st half, he had about 5 possessions he actually was involved in. He turned it over twice (1 was a kick ball that didn't get called), missed 2 3s, and then had a bucket.

I was watching wondering why he's not involved. They weren't even passing it to him. Monk was the primary ball handler, Sabonis was backing him up. Ran a ton of shots for Huerter. Fox was playing the Davion role of standing on the wing waiting to shoot spot up 3s. It made zero sense. Almost all his attempts came in the 2nd half.

My theory, coaches went to him asking him to take less shots, get keegan, barnes, huerter more involved early game like Sabonis does. He got pissy about it. Around this time he stopped going to talk to the media. He's on fire to start the season clearly heading towards all NBA selection. That's his super max on the line.

And to be clear not excusing him if this is what happened. But it's pretty clear he's not nearly as involved in the offense. He still needs to give effort defensively. If my theory is right, that's a mistake by the team, you don't tell your best offensive player to sacrifice for role players. Look at the usage splits. Dec he was 34% usage averaging around 30ppg. January it drops to 27-28% and hes averaging 22ppg.

I get Fox has been a problem, but he's definitely not the only one. Hes didn't allow Jalen Williams and Jaden ivey to go for 35+. Team as a whole needs to play better. Fox definitely needs to be more engaged. Just as the coaches started game planning more for Barnes/Huerter to shake out of their slump, they need to do the same for Fox. Stop relying on him to turn it on in the 4th or go iso every play.

It’s kind of the chicken or egg thing. Is Fox being disengaged leading to others having to take the initiatory role (like Monk), or is it the actual game plan
