Kings (40-28) @ Wizards (11-58)

Post#1 » by codydaze » Thu Mar 21, 2024 4:18 pm

After a blowout win against the Raptors where the starters were able to sit the whole fourth quarter, the Kings head to DC to face the Wizards who have taken the throne from Detroit as the worst team in the league. Like Toronto last night, Washington will be without multiple key players with Avdija, Coulibaly, Tyus Jones and former Kings, Bagley and Holmes, all sitting out. Let's hope for a repeat performance.

It's so hard watching my favorite non-King cook against the Kings.

Fox looking around for a barn door, to see if he can finally hit it...

Good news, he found it, and helped reduce the deficit to 2 by half time.

Back to old habits, Wizards up by 12 again. Is three fouls in 6 seconds some kind of team record?

5/24 from deep as a team. Really don't understand why in these games where we struggle from deep we just continue to try and shoot our way out of it. It hasn't worked once this year.

Games like this undermine the progress the squad is trying to make under Brown. It is frankly embarassing. Can't see Monk staying here for less money after nights like these.

The Jekyll and Hyde Kings season continues. Just when the Magic throw us a bone we go and blow it. From 6th to 8th by the look of it.

We have the tiebreakers currently against Dallas and Phoenix still so we stay at 6 for now at the three way tie but we just refuse to separate at all. I think we'll finish with the tiebreaker against Phoenix no matter what but it's still up for grabs against Dallas I believe.

Edit: Didn't realize they both play today. Yeah looking like we slide to 8 tonight.

What happened with Malik? Seems he left the court before the end of the game.
