i cant even come up with a top 5. this isnt a superstar potential draft.

as for the meyers pick, he might not have superstar potential, but i think he has one of the highest ceilings in this draft

I'm surprised I'm the only one to list Royce White so far.

1. Anthony Davis
2. Andre Drummond
3. Austin Rivers
4. Royce White
5. Dion Waiters

I don't see how Perry Jones has superstar potential. Superstars need a certain mentality to be great. Perry Jones doesn't have that mentality. He has the mentality of a really good player, but not "superstar"

But someone who I think will be a high level stud but not quite superstar is Beal.

Hard to state that about Jones and then have Drummond and White on the list...

I don't know enough about Drummond or White to make that statement. Obviously i've heard Drummond passions/competivness been questioned but Whites? I've never heard that

I am too..this guy will be the steal of the draft. Big, strong, aggressive and can handle the ball like a PG...that is very unique.
Denver might take him at 20 if available but I'm hoping Mavs grab him at 17.

I don't think anyone in this draft is going to be one of the 5 best player in the league during their career. I think a bunch have a chance at being top 15 though.

Davis, Barnes and Drummond have the highest ceilings.
MKG and Beal are as likely to be extremely good as anyone I don't see them as greats.
Jones and Lamb physically are capable.

Do people see him as having a higher bust potential to counteract his perceived higher ceiling?

They say he is so low because is bball IQ is way way lower than Javale McGee and that's :o

Same thing I was going to say.

After Davis I don't really see anyone with true superstar potential, but there are a number with star potential. Very real and very likely star potential.

Jeremy Lamb was a guy I was super high on, I know many were, but I've really lowered my expectations.

I still feel he's going to be a very good player, but he was just too passive, not enough leadership intangibles, needs to get to the line more and with every interview of him I watch I cringe a little more.

He sounds dumb. Not completely down south inbred dumb, and not catch 2 DUI's, beat up his girl and get in a shootout in a club dumb, but dumb that even translates to the court some, dumb.

I won't take it too seriously, there are a ton of semi-star and lower level star players that sound like they need to read audio books, but a vast majority of superstars and true stars sound and mainly are intelligent.

A comparison I heard from you and others that I agreed with and used myself was a rich man's Eddie Jones and a rich man's Rip Hamilton, but I've been thinking just Eddie Jones or just plain old Rip Hamilton for awhile now, not a rich man's.

I think the only one that really has that possibility would be maybe Royce White and that still seems like an INCREDIBLE long shot, especially for an undersized 4 that needs the ball to be effective and will likely be drafted in the middle of the first round, late lotto at best.

I think potential is all about things you can't teach, ie height, athleticism etc. Everything else can be taught no matter how difficult it is. So going by that i would say someone like a Tony Wroten or Drummond would have the most potential in this draft.
