Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

I see it mentioned a fair bit that Ben and particularly Skal are old for there class. Josh Jackson, who is a good talent, will be a month older then Labissiere at the same stage when Skal started college.

Even Ingram is 6 months younger then him and Simmons is only 6.75 months older

Probably this, though until we see them in college it's just a guessing game. Last year people would have said Skal would have gone top 5 if there were no age limit.

1. Simmons
2. Tatum
3. Giles
4. Ingram

Jackson top 10

Without the ACLs I believe Giles would be a clear #1

Disagree. Even if Giles never had an ACL I would still chose Simmons above him if in the same draft. Simmons is a generational talent.

I agree that Simmons has an absurd ceiling, but the Webber comparisons to Giles seemed very accurate.

Multiple knee injuries hurt his stock dramatically - without them he looks to have a better floor and similar ceiling to Simmons

Giles and Ayton are the 2 "next big thing" prospects in high school, Simmons had hype but not like those two.

Obviously this is not an exact science :-P

Agreed. Giles would be the easy choice if it wasnt for the surgeries. He is a freak for his size and has a much bigger impact on the defensive end that Simmons did in high school. If Giles comes out as good as he did after his first surgery, he still may make a run for #1 in 2017. He is that good of a prospect

1. Jackson
2. Simmons
3. Giles
4. Tatum
5. Ingram or Dennis Smith

Giles probably gets picked 1st if he didn't just suffer his second ACL tear.
