At this point, it is clear that some here think AB is some average PG in terms of passing/vision while others (like me) see AB as one of the best passing PG with the highest basketball IQ to come along in years. That's really the gap in understanding here.

I think that's a bit hyperbolic, we've had some amazing passers come out recently (Lonzo, LaMelo, Trae, etc.). That said, if AB isn't an outlier passer *as a starting point guard*, he is really close.

He reminds me a lot of Shaun Livingston.

A bigger and stronger Shaun Livington who doesn't get injured is an extremely good player [Probably around Top 50 in NBA].

I think most people agree he’s a very good passer, just maybe not one of those creative savant types with the ball in his hands. To me he’s kind of a “flowchart” passer who always makes the right play

Great vision...not great execution and may not be on ball enough to take advantage of it. Kind of like Kevin Huerter in that sense.

But look...he's not close to LaMelo or Giddey in terms of vision. Those guys are elite tier. AB is not that guy. He's also not Trae Young or Garland. Those are simply better passers. Full stop. In fact I'd say AB is well behind someone like Draymond Green in terms of vision.

And for FFS Jokic makes him look like a black hole.

Edit: ****, I forgot Haliburton too.
I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

Lonzo's A:T was 3.0. Haliburton 2.3. AB 1.3.

Lonzo had FOUR teammates shooting > 40% from 3, AB's highest was Brazile shooting 38% and he only played 9 games

Kind of like Kevin Huerter in that sense.

Who are they trading and for what pick?

Guess we'll find out on draft night. Spurs have the future draft capital to make it happen if they reeeeally want him. Probably just typical rumor mill stuff though

10th Mavs is an option, Keldon + a future pick?

Ya missed this from Monday, eh?

Barnes also had 2 40%+ 3P shooters and four other 36%+ 3P shooters around him in the rotation.

Black had no teammate over 35% from 3.

Not comparable at all.

Statistics without context is useless. Maybe everyone here isn't obsessed with statistical analysis as me, but I don't see the point in posting one single statistic and drawing a conclusion from it.

"More accidents happen within 5 miles of your home than outside of 5 miles"

Wow, people must zone out when near their house.

No, most of your driving is done within 5 miles of your house, hence more accidents.

Assists : Turnover, over a tiny sample, isn't really indicative of much.

If SAS wants him, and he is there at 10, I like Keldon, Collins for Bertans, 10.

No from Dallas. Collins is not a full time starter that can be trusted to stay healthy. And Keldon doesn’t fix much for Dallas.

Maybe Cleveland would trade Jarrett Allen for those 2? They need a SF and a backup big.

Allen to Dallas
Johnson and Collins to Cleveland
Bertans 10 to San Antonio

Okay, I knew Black played football but didn't know he was a 3 star WR with P5 offers.

If this kid didn't waste half of his time laying football, surely his basketball would be better.
