I expect him to stay but if he doesn't he's probably going top 9. IMO.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

Any idea where he's going to go if he declares this year? One of the more impressive freshmen this tourney if not the most

with the lack of SGs in the draft and in the league, i dont see how he makes it past lotto.

He should definitely declare. Alec Burks is the only other first round prospect at shooting guard.
Next years SG class is just as think but why wait, he'd surely be a top 15 pick.

Re: Remember this name--Jeremy Lamb PG/SG
Does he remind anyone else of Corey Brewer when he was at Florida? He's a little shorter than Brewer but might have a better game off the dribble. It's hard to tell how his offensive game will develop.

no, not at all. only in body type. thats it. their skill, temperament, athleticism and overall games couldnt be any more different.

Re: Remember this name--Jeremy Lamb PG/SG
Reminds me of Paul George with better handles.
Or maybe the shooting guard version of what Nicolas Batum was supposed to become, if that makes any sense?
Kid is super fluid and smooth.
Been meaning to post in this thread for a minute.
I think he's got star written all over him if he could put on a little weight and stay healthy.
Heady player to boot.

To people talking about him earlier, honestly, Napier has looked awful to me every time I've seen him. Lamb looks damn good.

Nic Batum is exactly who he reminds me of.
Long, thin, poised, good potential as a defender, catch and shoot 3pt shooter, great instincts for the game.

I don't have a link, but Lamb is 100% returning to UConn next year.

A shorter, but better shooting Thabo Sefolosha

He should declare, but he won't.
I'm just glad one of these yearly Briggs "Remember this name: (insert random new UConn player here)" finally caught on.

I think he has to potential to be a Joe Johnson/Brandon Roy/Steve Smith type of player. I think he has a better handle and shooting than Thabo already. He has to tools to be a primary scorer in the NBA. He should go top 3.

Re: Remember this name--Jeremy Lamb PG/SG
I was a big fan of his before people jumped on his bandwagon as if it was loaded with hundred dollar bills. But a little realisticism (Is that a word?) would be nice. He's not an easy player to grade, because his role has been kept small - He's had a Batman as a teammate, and he's only been asked to be Robin or Alfred. And he's not a type A personality. We'll have to see how he develops without Walker to really tell what kind of NBA player he's likely to be.

This is exactly why he should declare. His stock is high right now, but if he comes back and struggles being the man next year, it will tumble quickly.

not every top prospect has to be an alpha male or batman.
he's shown that he knows how to play in a system and play off others which is what he'll likely do at the next level.

I think posters are oblivious to what school he goes to, he's not coming out, no way in hell would Calhoun advise him to and Calhoun's guys always listen to him. Rip and BG already spoke to him after the game on Monday and told him he needs at least another year.
