Post#1 » by Big Shamrock » Thu Mar 24, 2011 5:25 pm

Sources say the Charlotte Bobcats are targeting Kemba Walker.

According to ESPN.com, owner Michael Jordan is a "big fan" of Walker.

Walker is projected as a lottery pick, while the Bobcats sit three games out of eighth place in the Eastern Conference.

I'm curious to see if he plays point or two-guard in the NBA. If he's a two-guard, it'd be interesting to see how he plays off the ball instead of being the go-to ball-handler AND scorer.

Not sure where'd I'd like to see him go, but the Bobcats seem to be going nowhere. I'm not too up-to-date on 'em though.

Oh, hes going to lotto team... although if the lakers could trade brown and xx amounts of drafts picks for him . That would answer pg spot for the lakers i hope:)

They play the same position. Why double-down lottery picks when you can build a great bench just as easily through later rounds and free agency?

Even assuming you slide Kemba to SG, neither of them are taller than 6'1". You'd need a taller point or they would just get annihilated on defense.

So basically, it's the same failed strategy as the last five years, but outside of North Carolina borders this time.

why would anybody in that organization divulge that kinda information this early?
thats just stupid. i mean its too early to even throw out smokescreens.
it was most likely a case where someone asked MJ who he's been impressed by in the tourney and he said kemba. i highly doubt that means that they are "targeting" him.

Of course they are. He has Bobcats pick written all over him

And there is no way he plays 2 in the NBA. He's like 5'10.
