Don't think he'll come close to putting up Blake Griffin type numbers anytime soon, I'd expect him to be more a Kenneth Faried type player for at least his first 2-3 years in the league.

I think Aaron Gordon will eventually be a longer, more athletic version of Shane Battier. I think that's what his role will be. He's an energy guy and high-level defender. Or, maybe he's like Chandler Parsons. He should be able to hit some open shots with his feet set, but I wouldn't expect much more from him offensively. I think if Orlando wanted to go big, Randle would have been a solid pick at #4, then add Payton at #12. Then you'd have your playmaker and a legit post scorer to run your offense though, with Oladipo and Harris/Harkless on the wing.

I can't see how Julius Randle got underrated this year. Paul Milsap made the All Star team this year, and Randle is a bigger, better version of Millsap.

I think AG will play the 3 for the Magic. He can definitely guard the position. My lineup would be Vuc, O'Quinn, AG, Dipo, and Payton. They'll lean heavily on Dipo to score and I think given the minutes and being the man, he could average 20-25 ppg. Fournier, Harris, and Harkless will be the top 3 off the bench.

He strikes me as a kid who's just gonna get it. I don't know, it's just a hunch and admittedly it's a lot due to watching him interview and handle himself.

I mean watching him on film you love some of the thing he does but also there's this obvious lack of skills offensively as far as doing anything with the ball other then passing and dunking - but I can't stop but thinking there's something else to this kid.

I felt that in a lesser way towards MKG aswell, so go figure. He seems much much more confident in himself and like someone who won't allow himself to fail, though. Atleast in my perspective.

Combining him with a guy like Victor Oladipo who's probably the most success driven youngster I think we have in the NBA as far as putting in the work just enhances that feeling I have.

I wasn't sold on the pick at first but he should be a safe pick in terms of at least getting some contributions out of him. I doubt he even develops a jump shot though.

at the time i wanted exum like no other but i can understand the pick. He was probably the best big in the draft given:

1)embiid's injuries and the possibility that he would never play
2)randle's foot issues and inability to shoot
3)his youth
4) the fact that the other option was vonleh
5) ability to handle the ball and is an underrated shooter- 36% from 3 this year.
6) bbiq

One thing to consider is that he could grow a bit taller, and with his athleticism could make him a better finisher around the basket. Mnay players continue to grow after age 18.

I still probably would have gone exum in retrospect because of how raw this guy is but after exum this guy was most likely bpa at 4.

A guy who would have otherwise been drafted 5th gets drafted 4th and it's the "Biggest reach on draft night?"

Millsap is a better rebounder and much, much, much better shooter, and even then, he only made the all-star team because he's in the East.

What a player.

Just imagine how sick Steve Nash would have been if he could hit 3s at the same rate he hit free throws.

He's definitely raw offensively and needs to bulk up, but he was my favorite person in the draft, he has the character to maximize his potential. I'm hoping he can really develop his perimeter skills because his ball handling and passing seems good enough to be a perimeter player, as is his perimeter defense.

I don't see how that takes away from Gordon already being a decent shooter from that range. Though that range is the NBA long 2, it's still part of whole shooting weakness which is proving to be true, but an issue and weakness that can be worked on easily.

Also Vonleh is being viewed as a potential stretch 4, so yea he shot well from 3 in college.

as long as you arent mentioning that Millsap has insane wingspan and reach for his size and that he can shoot beyond 10' and even has 3 pt range, than yeah Randle is just like Millsap

According to a few reports the Jazz who picked 5, would have taken Gordon if he was available.

Smokescreen.

We were just trying to sucker Orlando into grabbing him so Exum would fall.

I think randle is a better prospect then Gordon I know he can have a zach Randolph type career.

I think Gordon can be a nice glue guy but u don't draft those guys top 5 it's why I hated the mkg pick at 2 u don't draft a defensive specialist that high
