Duke 2014 recruit class?

Post#1 » by yitur » Fri Apr 4, 2014 8:18 am

How good are they? From the highlights they look cool but will they be another 2013 Kentucky class or something amazing.
I just wanna know what you guys think about these guys.(Okafor-Winslow-Allen-Jones) And what if Parker decides to stay one more year how deep can they go?

they're the best class in 2014. on paper they're not kentucky's 2013 class, just by virtue of sheer numbers. UK had 5 blue chips and 1 high 4 star recruit (could be considered 6 blue chippers depending on the scouting service), 8 players in total. duke has 4.

what's great about duke's class is that they all complement each other. they're all smart, mature players for their age and their skill sets don't overlap. there's ball-handling, passing, slashing, open court play, shooting, perimeter defense, high iq PG play, post play, front court beef, rebounding. they have just about every facet covered and they address every hole that duke had this past season.

they'd be my preseason #1 whether they have parker or not.

They fit well, better than most classes, but there are a lot of good classes this year, it seems. When you can look and say "wow, even Seton Hall has a good to great class" and not mean "just for them" than that's a pretty good year. Duke, Kentucky, North Carolina, Arizona, UNLV, all great.
