He purposely tanked the workout.. probably ate a 5 course meal right before and put rocks in his pocket

I can see where the confusion is. Chad Ford said that a source said Jabari tanked it and then said a source said "it was clear WE weren't his first option", implying that that source was from the Cavs organization.

From what I can see Ford had 2 sources say it, and the only one who was quoted said this:

A source says he strongly prefers to play in Milwaukee. The Cavs appear to be aware of this. "Jabari wasn't himself," one source said. "It was clear we weren't his first option."

So at least one was clearly from the Cavs.

Soo a supposed " high character, utra competitive" Guy just tanked a workout for the team who holds the #1 overall pick?

That in itself speaks volumes about him if you believe that.

Im not buying the tanking talks. I feel this is all a cover up for his bad workout, but if you guys wanna buy that, than i guess thats even a bigger red flag than just being bad in a workout.

The scale says 255. that right there is the truth.

Playing weight at Duke was : 240.

gained 15 pounds in the offseason :lol:

Or it could be the Cavs putting it out there to try and get the Sixers to up an offer for the top pick to grab Wiggins, especially since tons of reports have them leaning towards Parker right now. Everything from the report has the info coming from the Cavs, so we don't even know if he did actually weigh in at 255.

Parker came in to work out on Friday in front of the Cavs' front office and ownership. Parker wasn't great. He was a bit heavy (he weighed in at 255 pounds), didn't shoot the ball well and got winded at times. Furthermore, two different sources told ESPN.com that Parker seemed a bit indifferent. there is nothing at this point that parker can do to damage his draft.

got a question. can a player simply refuse to go to the workout, thereby sending a clear message he ain't happy with that team. i don't know if it would change anything, but if it is already clear he doesn't like cleve then what's the point of even bothering to go to the workout. why the pretense.

This doesn't make a lot of sense, because we have video evidence of him not being fat recently. Unless he has a magical capacity to put on weight, it's hard to square Ford's claim with this video:

At the Bucks workout he was about the same weight and around 11.4% body fat. So he's probably looking at 245 or so in regular condition.

It's not that he's a terrible defender, you see he just wasn't trying at Duke is all. Which is apparently a viable excuse now.
