What is your team's draft needs for the 2015 Draft?
For the Hawks:
PG: We are excellent there.
SG: While we love Korver, he's 34 years old. Bazemore is a decent backup SG and improved from where he was basically a 10th to 11th man at best. We have a need more a potential starter but more so a potential All Star level SF.
SF: Carroll is in his prime and Thabo is a very good backup SF. There is no real need but if the right player was available. We would love especially since we need more wing depth in general which is an issue.
PF: Sap and Scott is more than enough. A chance Sap may leave but no one we draft could replace him this year so it's unlikely we will draft a PF in the 1st but maybe 2nd round.
C: Horford, Antic, Muscala and Tavares. Horford is one of the best players in the NBA and completely underrated as usual. Should be playing PF but it's not an issue with our playing style. Antic defends really well but outside of that he can have a lot of flaws. We are losing a reliable #3 in Brand but replacing him with the very talented and physically elite Walter Tavares who we stole in the 2nd round last year and he continues to improve dynamically each season. A potential stud we have long term plans for. No needs at C and PG.
Areas to improve: Wing depth, Wing size, athleticism and better rebounders out of the wing.
Small areas: A big with rebounding and shooting skill.
Must: Basketball IQ, you can have very low awareness if you are really young but you MUST have BBIQ. You must think the game very fast and move a lot as a player. We lead the league with player movement. Off the ball movement is vital.
Work Ethic
Willingness to do all for the team and be a good teammate.
You must fit our triangle/motion hybrid based scheme and be able to think and react quick.
Nice to have:
Passing must be average at best. We can develop passers nonetheless, look at Jeff Teague.
Massive potential, we believe every player has untapped potential but we would like a player like Dennis Schroder who we can develop into a stud who has the tools to be great.
Clutch factor, we let everyone get a fair shot so we would like you be ready and want to be in every clutch situation without a regression in your game.
We don't believe in trades unless it's necessary, we have a lot of chemistry and we do develop each and every player but if you don't fit, you will be traded (see Payne and Bebe).
That's our needs.
Players:
SG: Oubre, Russell if top 3, Hunter and LeVert. Booker if we are outside the lottery.
SF: Hezonja, Winslow and Looney and Stanley Johnson if top 3. Anderson if outside the lottery.
PF/C: Towns and Okafor if we get a top 3 pick. Porgizins, we wanted him last year. Turner and Lyles if outside lottery.
What are your team needs and going ever further and tell me players you want to target as a fan at your draft position?

Rockets needs a PG. Beverly is not going to cut it.
Trading up/down to late first round for Delon Wright imo should be the #1 priority.
Grabbing a junior/senior PF/C should be second priority.

Wolves need a true big man, a shot blocking power forward and/or a shooting guard that can handle and shoot.

Raptors - Rim Protection / 3pt Wing Shooting / Back Up PG
Targets in the 20-24 range -
Bobby Portis, Devin Booker, Cameron Payne, Kris Dunn, Caris Lavert, Justin Anderson, Jerian Grant....
Probably all wishful thinking except Cameron Payne, which is a bit of a flyer...

Kaminsky, Portis, or Turner could be a huge upgrade to Zaza for the Bucks who is probably one of the if not the worst starting big man in the league. Hoping one of them fall to their pick

For Orlando:
Towns then Russell if in top 3. If not, best PF prospect available. With 2nd rounder, best PG available.

Kings need a big, who can be a defensive presence, but also an effective scorer off the ball to pair with Boogie (almost 3rd of Caulie-Stein's offense come off of cuts). Plus on defense WCS is more effective as a PF.Fischella wrote:Gilles wrote:Kings need WCS.

They need to play Gay at the PF and play Winslow at the SF.

This would work considering Boogie crazy ass skill-set

Center and SF.
So they'll prob draft a couple of guards.

knicks need a center and a point guard. i think they should select okafor and trade down for two 1st rounders since they don't have a pick for 2016
my personal favorites are Kaminsky & Jerian Grant or Delon Wright

The Pistons desperately need a small forward as their first priority, someone who can do some combination of shoot, handle/create for others, and defend.
KCP has been disappointing so a SG with better offense could be in order, and since Greg Monroe could leave a PF could be in order too. However, we just have one pick, so the focus is on landing Winslow/Johnson/Hezonja first and foremost.

Suns need a center to either back up Len or eventually start if Len's injury issues continue. They could also use a solid PF to back up Kieff or eventually start if we feel we need an upgrade there or if he gets traded (which many Suns fans expect).

The Kings have need for
- A backup center (Willie Cauley-Stein)
- A wing defender (Justise Winslow)
- A stretch 4 (Frank Kaminsky)
- Guys with good A/T ratios (Justise Winslow, Frank Kaminsky)

If you play Cousins at PF offensively to accommodate WCS, isn't that likely going to lead Cousins to shooting more jump shots? Do you want him to shoot more jump shots?

Porzingis would be the perfect fit in Sacto.
