the pistons are going to draft him unless deanglo russell is in reach, which i doubt the nba will give us a good pick, even though they stole our pick last year when they gave the Cleveland Lebron James's the first pick.

I could see johnson falling to the pistons at 8 and becoming this years drummond.

If he could shoot he would be very valuable. As good as someone is defensively and at the little things, it's tough to be out on the floor if you have zero offensive game. If he could develop a good three point shot, he would be very valuable.

Shooting is about 20% of winning basketball. I would say guys that are good shooters have a hard time getting on the floor if they don't do the little things. D- League and Over-seas are full of guys that were great shooters. RHJ does so much well. he is one of my favorite players in this draft. not top 10 or anything but I think he should go top 15.

I agree that shooting is the least valuable quality, but if you can't do it at all, it's tough to be a basketball player in the nba. I am a Cats fan and love Rondae but he NEEDS to, at a minimum, have some sort of offensive game or he won't make it. He was extremely important as a Wildcat. If he can't shoot, his best bet is a Tony Allen type of player, which one team had for a while or a PJ Tucker guy, which a non playoff team starts and he IS a decent shooter. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy...one of my favorite AZ players...he has a place in the nba but unless he learns to generate some sort of offense, he will be an end of the line role player at best.

Dunn's highlights look out of this world.

Haven't seen him play a full game but his highlights make him look like a real star in the NBA.

Agreed. The rare 21 year old who seems to be a very high potential pick. Could be one of those ultra dynamic, sixth man of the year type guards or even more.

Myles Turner is another intriguing prospect. NBADraft.net has him out of the lottery which I think would be a mistake.

He has a 7'4 wingspan, averages 18 pts, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks per 40 while shooting 83% from the free throw line as a freshman.

Most of all, his skill set fits what NBA teams need. Almost every team could use a solid rim protector and rebounder who can also hit the midrange jumpshot and the turnaround out of the post. He could plausibly develop a 3 point shot making him even more dangerous. It's hard to imagine him not making some kind of contribution in the league.

Haven't read the entire thread but the 2 in my mind are definitely Myles Turner and Caris Lavert. Both those guys have uber high ceilings given where they're projected to be drafted. Huge fan of both of them.

Mudiay easily .... the guy should be top 2 in the draft, but will end up falling out of top 5 due to the hype of some players ...

The 3rd player is so underrated he can't even be mentioned.

He was outstanding at the PIT, let me tell you. Not elite in any particular physical/athletic dimension, but simply has a wide array of moves that allow him to create separation. Could bring combo guard energy off the bench.

I'd love it, am really hoping someone picks him up in the second round. At worst I'd expect a summer league invite.

I like the wings: RJ Hunter, Caris Levert. Like D-Russ, they are able to get their own shots with the bounce, but they are not selfish players. Play within the system. Perfect types for pace and space basketball. Either player I'd take on the Spurs in a heartbeat to replace Belinelli.

Caris Lavert is the guy who most could be Jimmy Butler at the next level and by that sense I mean he'll come in and be a defensive player on a top team most likely then slowly develop his offensive game as he matures in the league. When you look at the guys who really blow up in the league considering their draft spot, it's normally underrated college/HS recruits versus guys who are former McDonald's All-Americans.

If he goes to a team 21-26 (Dallas, Chicago, Portland, Cleveland, San Antonio, Memphis), I can see him having a very long and very good career.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned either of the Harrison twins. Andrew is projected to go late 2nd and Aaron undrafted. If these guys were at any other school where they could dominate the ball and had more freedom I think they would both be 1st rd locks with Andrew a late lottery pick. If I'm a team in the late 1st or early 2nd I wouldn't hesitate to snag Andrew. I think both players are going to end up being much better nba players than they ever were in college.
