Good decision. He's a better fit in Charlotte.

Edit: Sarcasm? Yes.

Good decision given Miller is likely BPA.

I have Wemby >> Miller ≈ Black > Scoot as the clear top 4. Cam/Amen/Walker/Ausar being drafted at 4 is just going to be a bucekt of fail. Rockets are probably going to fail for the third year in a row.

Knowing him he just can't help himself lol. Fairly typical.

Yep. He can’t wait until the draft is over. I seriously hate woj. He brings 0 value

And even then he had the caveat that he might break some if they are major news such as a trade or the 2/3 result.

It’s not really that big of a deal. We all saw that Scoot isn’t the generational prospect that people made him out to be 2 years ago. You’re just butt hurt that your guy isn’t going at 2.

so, why were you wrong about Brandon Miller?
can't get his shot off with a low release? wrong.
unimpressive athlete? wrong
can't finish at the rim? wrong

whoops

Who are you talking to? Also…it’s been three games. The same rules apply to this cat as the other cat. Calm down with the quick takes a few games into their careers.

I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

Surely if he was going to be unable to get his shot off against NBA defenders because of his release, at least some inkling of that would have manifested itself by now, like Scoots weaknesses have yeah? He hasn't had an issue in any way

Who questioned Brandon Millers jump shot? It was pretty universal that he was a high floor, elite offball player. I believe the biggest contention was his half court creation which is still a question mark: https://www.nba.com/stats/players/scoring?PlayerExperience=Rookie&dir=A&sort=PCT_AST_FGM.

The biggest reasons why people doubted Miller as the #2 pick were because his floor game wasn't seen as translateable or scalable to a high-end Wing [A la PG13, Tatum, ect].

There were no doubts about his shooting ability, and his low release is specifically related to "Can this player isolate and quickly pull up from 16 with a defender in his face and still get the shot off", not "Will his catch and shoot 3P shot be blocked".

miller showed the entire arsenal last night. folks were questioning his low release - through 3 games, it simply isn't a problem just as i said it wouldn't be. he's getting it without any issues. last night, he pretty much got to wherever he wanted on the floor, scored off catch and shoot, pull up jumpers off the bounce and got to the basket. he's a complete offensive player. looked really good defensively last night as well.

"I never said his shooting release would be an issue" sure fellas

"All I said about Miller was (insert whatever desperate nitpicks they can find from scouring his metrics so far)"
