GT: Spurs vs. Clippers

Post#1 » by Nolan » Sun Nov 9, 2014 3:34 pm

When: 10:30 PM ET, November 10, 2014
Where: STAPLES Center, Los Angeles, CA

Should be another tough one for us against a very talented Clippers team.

The key to this is going to be getting our offense going once again.

Go Spurs!!

We're slow out of the gate this season; I've got the Clips winning this one.

We need to get some of our swagger back. It's early in the season, but we've got to capitalize on OKC's injuries to try to get a foothold in the conference standings. We're already looking up at several teams.

Go Spurs!

So once again no Marco and no Tiago.

Hopefully Cojo can keep up his strong play, we need that extra spark off the bench.

Yeah, I've liked what I've seen from Joseph so far. It looks like he's serious about doing whatever it takes to lock in a spot in the rotation.

Hey, whatever it takes. It worked for Devin Brown, right? Ha ha.

Ginobili trying to lose at the end, but I forgive him for the Thunder Game 6.

Finally Kawhi getting touches and plays. If he balls like that every night, we are in incredible shape. He looked like the best 2 way player on the planet tonight.

Yeah, dude came alive tonight. I haven't cared for his energy or body language to this point, so it's a great thing to see.

Glad to see KaMax play well. All about consistency now if he wants to remain a Spur and get that contract.

Actually glad Baynes is getting minutes and doing ok. Totally different player than Splitter, but he can certainly contribute.

Hopefully Pop understands that DNP Ayres and Daye = WIN

That's the rotation I wanna see until Splitter and Mills are back
Shaq on Duncan:SA won because of TD, a guy I could never break.I could talk trash to Ewing, get in D-Rob's face, get a rise out of Mourning, but when I went at Tim he’d look at me like he was bored and say:“Hey,Shaq, watch this shot right off the glass.”

Agreed. For the first time this year I wasn't confused by Pops rotation.

The strangest part of the game was Anderson playing but only getting one touch on the offensive side that I remember, and that touch was just to change sides of the court. He has zeros across the board, but was +3 on the night.

He's looked pretty decent so far though. He's not quite ready to contribute yet but when he's out there he's not hurting us.

The kids got some potential and he should become a pretty good player in a couple years.

I agree with you, he's hanging in there, but there is no way he is calling for touches on offense. I'm sure he's playing it safe right now, which means focus on defense and a making his shots when his man leaves him to double team. I imagine he'll get some more burn tonight though, as Pop will likely be resting people.

Yup and that's exactly what we need from him right now.
