GT: Spurs vs. Kings

Post#1 » by Nolan » Sat Nov 15, 2014 3:33 pm

When: 10:00 PM ET, November 15, 2014
Where: Sleep Train Arena, Sacramento, CA

Should be a good one tonight against the surprising Kings.

The key to this is going to be containing Boogie. He's been looking like a MVP candidate so far and we can't let him control the paint.

Go Spurs!!

A Spurs win would give the team 4 road wins on the season, all coming from a clean sweep of California. </trivia>

A little motivation as they prepare to tip off.

Ginobili looking good tonight. Missed some makeable shots that quarter. Luckily Cousins is a child.

Yeah the turnovers in that 3rd quarter was crazy. Or was it 2nd quarter? I don't even remember anymore. That changed the ball game.

Cousins looked great. Thing is, I didn't think we bring the right amount of intensity to start the game. It's understandable though. It was a B2B and it was the last game of the road trip. Reading from articles, that usually is a bad thing in NBA. Plus, every team gets up to play againts us. I also remember from watching open court, and I don't remember who said this, but when talking about repeating as Champions, it's hard to match the opponent's intensity. The games that you could match the intensity is againts teams that you think you'll meet in the playoffs. I don't think Spurs came out with the proper type of respect for the Kings team.

Too many turnovers, we couldn't stop Cousins and too much iso ball.

Parker didn't look all that great either.
