I imagine any player on our roster that might accidentally win us a game will have a dislocated shoulder at some point this season

I'm soo much more high on Wembanyama than Henderson. Henderson looks to me like he could be ok but nothing special. The more I see him play(only goes right, not good at getting other players involved...etc) the more I hesitate. Wembanyama is a player you tank for, Henderson is just a player.

Did you watch tonight?! Victor is a phreak of nature once in a lifetime phenomenon.

I like Scoot's competitiveness and he has a mature game for his age but I'm curious about Amen Thompson more than a 6'2" PG with very nice, but let's face it, not generational skills.

There's Victor and everyone else, but in the latter category I'm more intrigued by AT.

7-11 from 3 crazy hahaha!

Hmm... Borrego was with Pop visiting Ettore Messina in Italy during the Euro games this summer, too.

So we have Brown on the bench, and James in the Spurs staffer box. Interesting...

Not who I thought would get waived first based on play but perhaps he has a chance elsewhere and needed to be released to enable it:

Stop gap deal. Was cutting it close with a week left till the season starts. We had a year. Wonder what the issues in getting new naming rights were. Anyway, good to have this settled for now:

Read on Twitter

Some additional context:

Ricard Jenson, a professor at UTSA specializing in sports marketing and management, told me prior to confirmation that AT&T was extending its agreement that there could be suitors interested in a shorter-term contract.
“What I could see happening is more of a short-term deal, maybe something for five or 10 years,” he said.

https://www.bizjournals.com/sanantonio/news/2022/10/12/at-t-inc-to-extend-naming-rights-for-spurs-arena.html

I wonder whether a potential shorter deal allows for new naming rights for a new arena? Current deal of current arena runs out in ten years. Things to look out for in the future.
