SPURS GAME DAY! GAME 77: SPURS AT WARRIORS, 31-3-2023, 9PM (CT)

Post#1 » by G R E Y » Fri Mar 31, 2023 10:58 pm

We embark on the first of a three-game, west coast road trip versus the reigning champs who are fighting for post-season positioning. We face an experienced team that knows its sets and plays to its strengths on both ends. It's a great test for us to see how competitive and poised we can be, to show what we've learned, and to see how true we can stay to our game plan. All together.

WHERE: Chase Center, San Francisco, CA

I JUST DISCOVERED THAT MY CELL ALLOWS FOR ONE LITTLE WINDOW TO WATCH THE GAME AND ANOTHER TO POST.

REVELATION!!!

TECHNOLOGY FTW!

Tre - can't reach height. We should be more aware of him on a big down low and switch.

We're moving well off ball. Great cuts once again. Mamu great passing.

Good competing so far.

Keldon went left and finished with the left hand. Nice.

He's faking 3s and driving. Concerted effort to get inside.

Tre has to stay with a cutting Curry better.

Let's not over cook the passing.

Keldon not running out on his man shooting a 3. Then watching the shot in no man's land, just occupying a space, not boxing out, not going after the rebound...

Put it on his personal defense film.

Dieng the 7'er shouldn't be having it stolen by a guard. Then foul him.

But WAIT!

Rockets are beating Pistons.

So Rockets will have 19 wins. Like us now :o

And the series between us is tied 2-2.

BUT they've won by a higher points differential...

So if both teams are tied in wins I wonder whether the part above counts in the standings...

I don't think it matters. Since we are both top three we have the same odds at #1

1ST Q: SPURS 26 WARRIORS 23

Some good movement, some missed bunnies, some not boxing out, and some not switching well enough. Our guards keep getting caught in the left block and low post.

Our opponent is 0-10 from 3 and down 3.

Feels like something has to give...

GSG!

True, but the lower you are the farther you can fall. Like worst team can fall to #4 the most, #2 lower, etc.

Now I can finally say I like Barlow. His game is growing. Hopefully he works hard this summer because he has a great chance to become something.

Have a feeling he may be Diop insurance now, possible replacement later.

I like Diop a lot but he's 27 and UFA soon.

LOVE the Barlow signing.

Im all in on Wemby or nothing at this point. I'm not that interested in anyone else especially Scoot Henderson. If we don't get number 1 I wouldnt mind us sliding down to the point where someone else can make the mistake on Henderson
