Keldon GREAT pass to Tre for the cut and layup. Wide open. MORE of these plays, nevermind the outside shots. Force them to force us into other shots. Until then, do what works.

It's crazy who we've had to slot in as starters in recent years. Doug at 4 lol, before that Keldon at 4 by default, then rookie Sochan. At least the latter is an actual PF. Undrafted Julian follows a longer list of unheralded slot in players. More to type than actual ability but until Sidy is ready, we have to go with who fills the 3&D profile.

I thought it should be McDermott or Osman. Champagnie is a chucker and we already have enough of those starting...

1ST Q: SPURS 29 BLAZERS 29

Back and forth with leads and runs so it naturally ends in a tie.

I like Tre's downhill energy and mentality.

I didn't like our shot selection with settling for too many outside shots rather than creating inside more.

Love the second unit's physicality.

Devin as the only scoreless starter can't keep happening. It's not so much the misses (though it's part of it), it's the passive starts, the tentativeness, the settling for/insisting on outside shots, lack of drive. You're slotted as our second best overall player. DO something positively impactful.

Let's get the cutting and passing going. Run back on D. Protect the ball. Use the glass better on drives.

It's just Doug and Cedi followed by Branham are our three worst defenders statistically. At least in theory Julian provides some 3&D. Also, Doug and Cedi are known commodities. My sense is we're starting players who have growth / must grow.

Dom did everything right but finishes waywardly just there. That was an Austin finish.

Then Branham misses the rim on a drive. Then he misses a push shot in the paint (again).

Just too many missed opportunities so far.

HEY THERE'S a sure fire way to get it in - Branham fakes, shakes bakes, drives for a quick dunk.

Branham directs teammates calling for the play. Dribbles into contested space on the end court line and jumps and TOs the midair pass. **** me.

Good thing I have beer.

I'm sure we are watching the same game. No one is playing any defense anyway

Zach is doing a very fine job protecting our rim and punishing opponents at theirs.

Tre is doing a great job following drivers in transition for those clean up O board baskets.

Run the floor good things happen. On both ends.

I mean, we ARE better since Wemby was slotted to the 5, Sochan to PF. We're like middle of the pack the last 10 games, so it is an improvement.

And Zach tonight is doing great.

But when you have **** Doug and Branham teaming up for the 'right this way!' special lane opening, it makes everyone else's game tougher.

It'll be interesting to see which players, even draft picks of ours, will be on this team by next season or by the season after that at the latest.

ANOTHER inbounds pass for a TO and a basket. Third one of the night.

I'm so tired and coming down with something. Hard to stay focused on this one...

Good work by Tre and Sochan to get in passing lanes and deflections. We got the TO leading to a Keldon foul and FTs.

Iv'e been thinking more and more lately as we keep losing games that we will have a top 3 pick again. Perhaps we look to package that pick and try to get a known commodity player that we know can help us rather than another unknown player in a weak draft.
