My stream konked out for the last couple of minutes of the game but we went on a 9-0 Wemby-less run for a 5-point half time lead.

Very solid Kelson drive doing what he does, using his physicality and deftly finishing at the rim.

Its soo disappointing that the only reason we are playing a little better lately is solely because of Wemby becoming more assertive and dominant by the game. The rest of us are hot garbage.
I honestly thought we might be better this year even without Wemby just by natural progression. Boy was I wrong.

2ND Q: SPURS 53 ROCKETS 47

That 9-0 run after a TO bucket against and TO stretch was a very solid bounce back response to finish the Q.

We're getting better at doing the imposing to finish Qs which is a good sign. All the more so considering Wemby left the court to the locker room - that shoulder didn't look right on that one drive. He didn't even lift up his arm.

Well hopefully it means more minutes for Mamu and Dom.

In the meantime, we've done a good job with next man up mentality.

Keldon leads us with 13 on 4-6, 2-2 from 3, 3-4FTs. Everyone on the bench except Blake has scored but he leads us with 5 assists. Our bench is outscoring theirs 28-5.

Wemby leads starters with 10/6/3 blocks. HOPEFULLY HE'LL BE OK!

Sohan and Julian have once again combined for far too little - Julian with 0 points in 6 minutes.

We're shooting better, part of the offshoot of moving and passing more quickly, adjusting to the physicality that gave us trouble earlier.


Only 7TOs is good for us.

We need to get to the FT line more -- 4-6 so far.

Better adjustments, good response. Keep up the pace, poise, and physicality.

I was thinking they might have flirted with bringing Patty Mills back to retire instead of him going to Miami. Maybe he is chasing a ring still. Even though he was a turnover machine himself at times, I think he could run an offense better than anyone we have now. Or at least do some mentoring.
