I like that action where Cedi had multiple options from the paint.

We miss, O board, another 3 miss, then good Sochan swipe for the steal.

Cedi 3. PHEW finally.

2ND Q: SPURS 55 NETS 56

WE won this Q 30-27 on the strength of better movement and getting points inside.

Keldon obliged from the arc, making 4-4, Cedi joining him for our fifth.

But our work at the rim created the energy to get us moving and scoring. 7-3 on O boards (we were 3-0 this Q) so far is good work.

Keldon leads us with 15 on 5-6, 4-4 from 3, 1-1FT. Wemby has 12/7/2 and 2 blocks. Sochan unselfish and aware. Good. We do need a bit more than 1-3 from him. Hopefully he gets some buckets at the rim.

Everyone but Julian has scored in various levels of efficiency. Branham played 2 minutes this Q. I wonder if his chuckaraurus shoot first with blinders on to anyone else will sink in?

In truth, too many were taking off the dribble shots. Ironically, it was an off the dribble Keldon 3 that helped us with our momentum, but really it was more so the passing and points at the rim that helped us. We are still down 38-26 PITP but we made enough of a dent to bring the deficit down from 11 to just 1. had it not been for Wemby's two missed FTs we would have the lead now.

Still, we are 8-10FTs, doing good work getting to the line.

We have to do a better job protecting the ball. We have 10TOs on which we have given up 14 points.

We have to run back on D harder. Feels like we gave up points just about ever time we missed.

I did like our end of Q attention to details - Devin drove hard and dunked. Tre pressed and stepped up to get a steal to prevent a shot.

We've got the momentum. Let's protect the ball better and keep it going.
