Mamu's bulk, energy, physicality, and athleticism are very effective. Making a strong case for himself when he's hustling for loose balls and plays within the team concept.

2ND Q: SPURS 60 WARRIORS 52

Well we squeaked by this Q 26-25 and that's with four more TOs and lots of missed bunnies.

We're rushing and passing either too hard or too high. We're also settling for 3s when we can and should be trying to run something inside. We have a 28-16 PITP. We're leading 10-0 fast break points.

I get that we're trying to scramble and this is overall working for us. But we have to work through it with some thought and poise. Use the glass.

Terrific shooting 48/42/80 on 18 assists already.

We're winning the rebounding battle 27-18 and 8-5 on O boards.

Pop's using Wemby, Collins, Mamu liberally and we're using a lot of running, sealing, scoring inside, or both weak and strong side back door cuts for baskets.

Terrific energy and movement. Just think our way through and execute with speed.

Cedi leads us with 15 on excellent speed and BBIQ and synergy with Wemby who has 10/5/3/3/2 already in only 15 minutes.

Julian 1-4 with dumb TOs and misses.

Not shy Malaki is shooting and shooting only . Has not registered a single stat anywhere else.

Collins leads the bench on good energy if erratic finishing for 11 on 4-7.

Mamu leads the bench with 13 minutes and is 3-3. Terrific athleticism, physicality, BBIQ, energy on both ends.

Our bench back court of Graham and Blake have combined for 1 point on 0-1. Oof... Blake took a shot to the mouth, and Graham was in long enough to pass along a transition Wemby pass to Mamu for a dunk.

I love the game plan and our execution but for the bunnies and TOs.

Keep pushing. Protect the ball better. Play together. SYNERGY.
