SPURS 2024 DRAFT THREAD

Post#1 » by G R E Y » Tue Apr 9, 2024 4:57 pm

Though our season is not yet over and so our picks are not yet decided, there are some upcoming dates to keep an eye on.

This thread is also dedicated to whispers of our interest in prospects, as well as prospects in our projected ranges - 3/4, maybe 7, 33, 44.

Not an expert on Dillingham but I like the size of Topic better.

Dillingham seems soo tiny. Maybe I'm spoiled with Wemby?

Zach Edey is still projected at the top of the 2nd round. I'd love to see him on the Spurs.

* sigh * Dillingham has signed with Klutch. About as close to never mind as can be now. That and he likely barely 6' without shoes. So unless he's an otherworldly talent, that is a natural disadvantage a team will always have to factor in overcoming.

Glad that all prospects have to be measured now so there's no hidden mystery.

The majority owner and CEO are big, conspicuous attendees. It's either major interest or major smokescreen or somewhere in between...

He couldnt even beat Oakland U in the tournament which is basically a D2 team around here. I wasn't impressed with him at all

Love the size. He doesn't seem to be much of a playmaker like Topic is though.
Of course there is the Wemby factor.

I would like to see actual measurables on Topic. He's listed at 6'6" but looks like he is 6'1". He has a solid build though.

One thing for sure is if he plays for Serbia is he's tough as nails which is what we need.

Well that seems to be a key aspect of this draft - wildly varying games and impressions.

This is where scouting will really earn their keep.
