What about the Hornet's Bulter? Reasonable contract (3.6 and 3.9 for the two season after this)

Hornets wouldn't be looking for much. They need a 2/3

I like Rasual Butler. Long, big SF/SG, not a bad athlete. Above-average shooter. But I don't think I'd rather have him over the other role-player wings.

I'm a fan of Butler's as well, but we don't really need him..I'd rather get a big..

I really don't see a trade happening now. I've always believed that it's the RR trip that gets the Spurs and Pop untracked and focused on the second half of the season. I don't see it any different this year. We've had some injuries and some tough losses. In fact if you look at the last 6 losses or so I don't think we've lost by more than 5 points and I think that being the champs makes winning those games that much harder. I think we would have won half of them last year if not more. Anyway we'll get younger next year and the plan if I'm not mistaken is to load of on cap room for the 2010 FA.

it's impossible to judge at this point with so many injuries..Ginobili's finger is injured, so I'm attributing his poor play to the injury..Parker is getting back on the track..

the D is getting back on track, but our O has been in a slump..nobody can make any 3's, and too many poor shots..Duncan needs to be touching the ball every time down the floor to ensure that we get a good shot from someone, whether it be him or someone else..

I'm concerned about the bigs..I'd like to acquire a big, and I'd like to see Finley, Ginobili and Bowen start making the 3-point shot with more regularity..

I wouldn't mind him, but we wouldn't have anywhere to play Kidd..Parker fits into our system better, and Kidd isn't going to come off the bench..Parker is too small and isn't a good enough shooter to move to the 2..he's also becoming a good passer, so it doesn't make any sense..

I'd rather sign up Damon Stoudemire. He's a good shot and can hit the three. Especially with Barry out.

What does everybody think about Ryan Gomes from Minnesota? Younger player, but a mature, tough and smart player. I've gotten to like him a lot as a versatile big 3, small 4, foward. Can do several things on each end of the floor (including shoot out to three), has some athleticism, and is agile.

I think he'd fit in pretty well, and add a different dimension.
