OT: Seattle memories

Post#1 » by -Sammy- » Fri Feb 18, 2022 11:33 am

I was born and raised in Texas, but I lived in/near Seattle for about three years in the late 90s-early 00s. I've only been back a few times since, but I really adore the city and the Pac Northwest; if I were choosing a place to live based solely on things like weather, flora/fauna, and the overall 'scene', it would be the Emerald City without question.

For those of y'all who have spent any time in the area, share some cool memories with us.

I found my way to the area because I was in the military, and on my first full day after reporting to my new command, I found a flyer for some sort of 'military night' at the Key. The base was offering free tix, and the opponent? My Spurs.

It was an awesome way to discover Seattle for the first time, and even though the wrong team won, I had fun getting confused, dirty looks all night for cheering for the visiting Spurs.
